Really good location, very close to the coliseum and central Rome. The room is right on the street so it's quite noisy and car lights come in

Francesco's home is in a great location!! My sister and I walked everywhere. There's this great gelato place on the corner (name starts with an F), there's a post office that's maybe a 5 minute walk from his home, a bike/scooter rental shop and SOOO much more. The front door key isn't what you would expect if you're visiting from the states. It can be finicky but if you pay attention to how and when to turn it (you have to feel it) you'll get the hang of it quickly! The bed was about as comfortable as you can imagine for it being a pull out couch bed. The tv worked and had English stations, the mini fridge was a great addition as well as the option for coffee in the morning. The air conditioner blowed strong also. The only complaint I had was with the bathroom. The shower curtain and tooth brush holder had mold on/in them. Other than that, I think Francesco's apartment is a great choice due to the location.

Absolutely loved it! Perfect for a couple nights, powerful AC, within walking distance of the metro and many great sites, quite safe-feeling neighborhood. It is a little hard to find the first time- download your offline (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps well in advance or buy a very detailed map!

Francesco's place is wonderful. Location: PERFECT! It's quiet and easy to sleep in, but Within short walking distance to everything. The train station, coliseum, trevi fountain, Spanish steps literally everything. A main bus station is a 3 minute walk if you want to go a little further like The Vatican. Took me 15 minutes total to get there. The apartment is beautiful and bright and very clean! Bed is comfy and there's Air Con which is a necessity in the summer (it was 105 degrees outside) when I was there. Francesco was quick to respond to my messages and very helpful. Will definitely be back!

The location is perfect to explore Rome! The apartment is very clean and cosy and has everything you need for a shorter stay in the city. However, if you are looking for a host who gives advice and valuable insight about the city this is not the place. Otherwise it was great and we enjoyed our stay!
