This is a brand new, fully-equipped private flat in the lower level of a single-family home in the center of Minneapolis. Modern yet cozy, it can accommodate 1-4 guests comfortably. Walk or bike to nearby coffee shops, restaurants/bars, bike trails, parks & more. Short drive to everything!
This space was designed to make our guests feel like they're home, with all the comforts you'd expect: a private entrance, fully equipped kitchen (stocked with Keurig coffee and a sampling of locally-brewed beers), in-suite laundry, walk-in closet, Tempurpedic memory-foam mattress, high-speed wi-fi and hundreds of cable channels on a 48" LED TV. We haven't forgotten the little things either! We've traveled a lot ourselves and put that experience into making this your home away from home.
Guests will have access to a small private yard with outdoor seating for our beautiful spring/summer/fall evenings; a private entryway; an entry area with plenty of room for shoes, coats, bikes etc; and of course everything in the unit itself (which includes laundry.) The only thing off limits is the garage/driveway but plenty of street parking is available!
Interaction with guests
We are happy to interact as much or as little with our guests as they would like. We live on site and are able to answer questions, provide recommendations or quickly address any issues that may come up. We love showing off our city and are happy to tailor your experience to your wants and needs. All guests will also receive information (including area maps) on local bars/restaurants, coffee shops and other things to do. Like donuts? We've got a map for that too!
30-something political professional originally from Fargo, ND, married to Emily, a graphic designer originally from Milwaukee, WI. We've got a dog named Maui and a one-year-old boy named Waylon who both keep us very busy. We love to travel, and especially love to see places the way the locals do, which makes Airbnb such a great option. We like to hike, bike and run but we also enjoy searching for the best cocktails, donuts and restaurants wherever we go. Which is why we need to hike, bike and run. Given the winters in MN, we usually head south or west (or sometimes both). Favorite place I've ever been: Iguazu Falls, Argentina/Brazil.
