Camp on my mountain in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Bring who you want, and do what you want on 11 wooded, private and secluded acres. ATVs, Mountain Bikes, and Pets are OK. No curfews, and no judgement.

The space

Private 11 acre east facing hillside in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The land is 95% wooded, and 100% off grid, so you'll want to bring your own water, and remove your own trash.

Guest access

You get the entire 11 acres to yourself. There are several different spots to setup camp at with access ranging from "pull-in" to "hike-in"

The springs and creeks are mostly wet weather, meaning that the water amounts depend on the rain, and time of year. There aren't any fish on the property, but you are welcome to hike around the property all you want. There are no formal trails and it can be very rocky, but you can see where the animals have made game trails, and you can get around OK if you take your time.

Interaction with guests

Feel free to contact me anytime, rumor has it that I'm a super nice person.

My primary residence is 2 hours away in Missouri, so most of the time you will not see or meet me in person, but I am always available by telephone, text, and upon request will meet you in person.

If you would like to rent tents or have a camp setup before you arrive, that can be arranged, but I do need a few days notice, and it will change the price depending on the amount of gear you need setup.

If you are worried about being in the wilderness alone, and would like me to stay nearby that can also be arranged. I can play guitar or banjo for you, and can even stay up all night with a shotgun if you like; but again I need a few days notice.

Other things to note

There is no hunting allowed on the property.
It is the wilderness, so expect to see wilderness things. Lots of birds, and occasional animals. If you are allergic to poison Ivy, please be mindful of it and insects.

A very nice campsite in beautiful woods all to ourselves. A little table between trees for cooking, a big full water bottle with a pump, and an elevated wood tent platform were much appreciated camping luxuries. We had some great fires in the fire circle and heard an array of bird songs. The surrounding forest on the property seems really cool, we hope to explore it next time. Spencer was very kind, accommodating, and communicative. Definitely coming back, highly recommend this place.

Spencer went above and beyond to accommodate me. The space is like an absolute dream. I camped at the site at the end where there is a loop to turn around. If you hike directly down from that spot, there is a creek. It was mostly dry due to the season but the scenery was gorgeous. I stayed alone all week and felt completely safe and secure. The place is off the grid and I was never bothered. I feel refreshed and I will be frequenting this spot from here on out!

Spencer's property was incredible! We wanted to have a little weekend getaway to celebrate my husbands birthday. The platform for our tent was amazing, what a great idea!! And the 2 campsites gave us some options on where to sleep! His land is gorgeous, our friends came up the second night and loved it too! We want this to be our new go to camp spot!!

HIGHLY Recommend Spencer's piece of land for a weekend get-a-way trip! The space was clean, secluded, and had just the right amount of amenities for an awesome camp site (platform was great). We hope to visit again!

Great place to stay! The platform and fire ring were nice touches and the spot was in a really convenient location. Spencer was a communicative host and we found the description of everything to be accurate. Our little Prius made it down the driveway just fine, too.

Really enjoyed our weekend on Spencer's property. It was secluded and peaceful. The star gazing at night was a highlight. While there was no wood available at campsite available like the description indicated, we had no problem finding plenty for our nightly fire and marshmallow roasting. Thanks again Spencer.

I love to travel as often as possible. When I'm not helping people with retirement, insurance, or taxes, I enjoy backpacking, bush-crafting, playing music, metal arts & woodworking.

As a host, I want to provide an experience where people can reconnect with nature and live deliberately. I try to facilitate a space for people to discover themselves in the outdoors. For some that means simply relaxing in woods, for others that might mean finding their primal self; everyone's journey is distinct and I only judge how clean the place is left...
