Camp on my mountain in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Bring who you want, and do what you want on 11 wooded, private and secluded acres. ATVs, Mountain Bikes, and Pets are OK. No curfews, and no judgement.
Private 11 acre east facing hillside in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The land is 95% wooded, and 100% off grid, so you'll want to bring your own water, and remove your own trash.
You get the entire 11 acres to yourself. There are several different spots to setup camp at with access ranging from "pull-in" to "hike-in"
The springs and creeks are mostly wet weather, meaning that the water amounts depend on the rain, and time of year. There aren't any fish on the property, but you are welcome to hike around the property all you want. There are no formal trails and it can be very rocky, but you can see where the animals have made game trails, and you can get around OK if you take your time.
Interaction with guests
Feel free to contact me anytime, rumor has it that I'm a super nice person.
My primary residence is 2 hours away in Missouri, so most of the time you will not see or meet me in person, but I am always available by telephone, text, and upon request will meet you in person.
If you would like to rent tents or have a camp setup before you arrive, that can be arranged, but I do need a few days notice, and it will change the price depending on the amount of gear you need setup.
If you are worried about being in the wilderness alone, and would like me to stay nearby that can also be arranged. I can play guitar or banjo for you, and can even stay up all night with a shotgun if you like; but again I need a few days notice.
Other things to note
There is no hunting allowed on the property.
It is the wilderness, so expect to see wilderness things. Lots of birds, and occasional animals. If you are allergic to poison Ivy, please be mindful of it and insects.
Please be kind to the land, and respectful of nature. Please don't "rut" out the road. Don't leave trash. Do be safe with your fire. If your comfortable with being naked in nature, that's OK, nobody will be there to judge.
I love to travel as often as possible. When I'm not helping people with retirement, insurance, or taxes, I enjoy backpacking, bush-crafting, playing music, metal arts & woodworking.
As a host, I want to provide an experience where people can reconnect with nature and live deliberately. I try to facilitate a space for people to discover themselves in the outdoors. For some that means simply relaxing in woods, for others that might mean finding their primal self; everyone's journey is distinct and I only judge how clean the place is left...
