This space is great for a couple, perhaps with a small child, or an individual looking to explore or study in the midcoast area. Centrally located in Rockport village, close to local attractions, hiking, the harbor, restaurants, Maine Media, and the School for Furniture Craftsmanship.
This large ground floor room is bright, spacious and easily accessible.
The room is wood paneled with two large doors that open out to the back yard. Guests can use this entrance or the stairs off the kitchen which lead to the basement.
The room has a new queen mattress, large desk, sitting area, small fridge, bureau and hangers for clothes. The bathroom and kitchen are located at the top of the stairs on the first floor.
I have a wonderful sunny back porch and yard and you may borrow a bicycle or two to discover the coast or ride into Camden.
Guests are welcome to use the common areas, kitchen, living room and deck.
Interaction with guests
You are welcome to eat breakfast here and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea otherwise the kitchen is reserved as personal space; I am happy to give recommendations of great places to eat in the area.
I am happy to discuss more use of the kitchen for those interested in longer stays.
Please no smoking. A dog is allowed, but must be well behaved.
I am an architectural & interior designer; an artist, a gardner and an avid tennis player. I love the outdoors and living in the great state of Maine! I have 2 grown children and 1 grandson. Midcoast Maine is such a vibrant community of artists, musicians and writers.
I love to share this amazing place!
I started Airbnbing in 2014 when my daughter left for a semester to live in Vietnam and I have loved meeting people from all over the world. It's fantastic to hear about the places that I someday hope to travel to!
