Excellent apt located in the best neighbourhood near downtown Santiago, just beside two metro stations so you can explore all of the city without any problem. Close to supermarkets, travel agencies, restaurants, cafes and bars. Also the most historical places of the city like Bellas Artes are a few blocks away. The Definitely place to stay and explore Santiago.
"The apartment has one of the best neighbourhoods in town -- an unblemished experience of the bohemian and historic area of santiago with the santa lucia hill and Bellas artes area to the north.
More importantly, it's in a really safe neighborhood yet 1 block from vibrant areas with lots of bars and restaurants,
A curious mix of intellectual enclave and bohemian district, the Barrio Lastarria has developed over the years an idiosyncrasy of its own. It’s indisputably open-minded, with trendy shops and bookstores. Its residents display their tolerance and cosmopolitanism with pride, though they also share a strong commitment to keeping the Lastarria a genuine and very traditional barrio.
Tucked between the Cerro Santa Lucía, a former Spanish stronghold turned public park and the riverside promenade that is the Parque Forestal, the Lastarria’s location has pre-existing good looks. The place is also proud of its belle époque landmarks: elegant streets, lively café society, and the sensational Museo de Bellas Artes. On weekend afternoons, the area bubbles up with painters, jugglers and buskers, creating a suave cultural vibe.
Within a few blocks you can eat Irish, Catalan, Belgian, Spanish, Japanese and French cuisine!, metro station a 1 block away.

Santiago in general is a very safe city, and violent crime is not common. You do have to be alert with pickpockets in busy areas (including any Starbucks). My neighbourhood located in Providencia is very safe with better lighting than the average and because of its popular bars and restaurants there are people milling around at all times, which increases the sense of safety. Santiago, and indeed most South American cities, tend to be noisier than North America and Europe.
"First: Enjoy the apt and Santiago!
Now the bummer ones:
> Please use Airbnb for all initial communication.
> We need your flight code in order to coordinate the check-in (and check for delays of your flight).

> if something gets broken inside the apartment, tell us please!.
> we can enter to the apt to repair something, but we'll tell you before by an Airbnb message.
>No parties or events
> Turn off the lights, TV, heater when you're not using them
> Turn off the AC when you go out.
> please put the trash in the trash shaft before you leave. All glass should be left on the floor.
> If we can't collect the keys when you check-out please leave them with the concierge/reception in the box corresponding with the apt (1005)
