This rustic cabin is restored from an original 100 year-old log cabin in rural west Tennessee, comfortably updated with modern conveniences.

The space

Experience rural West Tennessee in an original log cabin on a berry farm. The home is part of Green Frog Farm, a settlement of restored historic buildings.
With one queen bed downstairs, a full-size bed with a small twin bed in the open sleep loft upstairs, the space accommodates up to 5 people. A full kitchen with dining area overlooks a blueberry field and pond. One downstairs bathroom is shared by all guests.
Guests will experience the quiet charm of a slower pace of life. Reconnect with history without the distractions of internet or television.

Guest access

A free self-guided tour of the historic grounds of Green Frog Farm is included with your stay.

Interaction with guests

John or Nancy will greet you on arrival. We live near the premises but not on the premises, so it's helpful to know if your arrival time changes.
The cabin is stocked with breakfast items you can enjoy on your own schedule.

Other things to note

Our other nearby listing, the cabin in The Holly House also accommodates five. If you're trying to decide which is best for you, consider that the Pines Cabin has a more private setting but open loft sleeping arrangements. The Holly House is closer to a main road and has separate bedrooms.

Loved the cabin and the tour of Green Frog. The location was fairly secluded and had everything we needed. The breakfast items that were provided were a nice touch!

Before anything I highly appreciate the service I was given I strongly recommend it to all my family and friends ! The service we were given is like no other I am definitely going to return just because of the great service I was given!! They were very helpful due to the hurricane issue and helped us out more than we feel we should've gotten helped! Everything was super nice neat and clean! The location was very historical it's a must go visit!! The best thing is that is very close to many shopping centers in town!

This place is perfect for a getaway trip! My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to rest and relax. This cabin exceeded our expectation and we wish we could have stayed even longer! We loved the decor and how the cabin has been restored to feel like it would have 100 years ago. The Freeman's were extremely welcoming and hospitable. We highly recommend staying at the Pines.

John and Nancy's cabin was a real treat to stay at. John was at the property when we arrived and was able to give us a short tour. There are other historic buildings back on the property we could walk to and explore as well. My kids loved walking into the old school house. The cabin itself was very well maintained and easy to relax in for the evening. We all slept soundly and were ready to travel again the next morning. We look forward to returning when our next road trips passes through the same area.

This cabin was fabulous! John and Nancy were welcoming hosts. Breakfast items were included and the kitchen was well-stocked with spices and coffee. It was a welcome treat to have the option to cook breakfast! Especially since we were just passing through for one night on our road trip and didn't bring many groceries. The cabin was clean and nicely kept. The history and decor were great as well. We did the Green Frog Farm tour as well and my kids a great time exploring and sampling blackberries from the vine. The cabin was a little closer to the main road than I expected but it didn't take away from the experience. I will say that you can hear road traffic when large trucks pass but it didn't bother us. We would love to stay again!

I've been collecting and restoring historical buildings and artifacts in West Tennessee for 30 years. If you visit the cabin please take some time to see the other unique sites nearby, including a working Linotype machine and a cotton gin from 1910. I live in a log house on a far…
