This is a cute, cozy, downstairs apartment that we just furnished and decorated in a North Woods theme. Small bath with shower, full size kitchen, separate bedroom with queen bed, and a comfortable spacious living room.

The space

For less than the price of a motel, you get a very comfortable little get away. A North Woods touch with a full kitchen, dining area, and bedroom. Living area has a secretary, love seat, recliner and entertainment center. There is a high def Smart Samsung TV with Dish TV and a Blu Ray Player. Wireless internet.

Guest access

There is a common area with the laundry that is available to both upstairs and downstairs guests. The Cozy Cabin guests will need to walk through this area to get to their door if they choose the door by the garage, which is more sheltered. There is an outside front (down - not visible in the pics) stair entry as well.

Interaction with guests

We live across the street and would love to be your neighbors. We take special pleasure in making clinic patients have a feel of home while they are undergoing their treatments. I'm always good for tip if you need help with something.

Other things to note

Laundry soap is provided, but $1.25 is needed for both the washer and the dryer.

I had a great stay at the cozy cabin! All the amenities of having your own apartment minus the high hotel cost in the downtown Rochester area.

Location is fantastic and Mark was very easy to deal with for check in and making sure we were doing well.

Mark had a great place to stay especially if you are using mayo clinic. It is an easy 10 minutes walk to the subway system and another 5 minute walk to the subway right at the elevators for mayo and gonda buildings. Mark had everything you would ever need in the apartment. It is one of the best stocked places I have seen thus far. It is a small space but it has everything you could possibly need.

The Cozy Cabin is an amazing place. We were there for a week in October, and honestly it was so cozy that our days consisted mainly of Mayo, and rushing back to The Cozy Cabin for respite. The apartment is so well remodeled and clean, I felt like I was staying in a nicer version of my own house. The big ceramic tub is glorious. It is beautifully decorated, yet not over the top. It’s perfect for two people. We found a local Vietnamese restaurant named Pho Chau, and ate there far more than one should admit. The location is 4 minutes to the Mayo drop off circle. And you can enjoy all of downtown easily. But we didn’t do much exploring. We wanted to be home in our Cozy Cabin! Loved it, and will be staying again when I come back to Mayo. Mark has everything you need at the apartment. Just drop your bags, and relax in your private hideaway!

Mark and Sandy were wonderfully hospitable hosts. They assisted us when we needed to lengthen our stay. The cozy cabin was quaint and super comfy! Would definitely return. Thanks Mark and Sandy!

Location was ideal for walking to/from Mayo Clinic. Cozy Cabin was well-equipped for a long stay and had everything we needed to "live" while in Rochester. We walked along Zumbro River several times, enjoying the great Fall weather. Great value lodging. Thanks for being our host.

Was exactly as described. Not a far walk to the Mayo building. Mark was very responsive to questions as well.
