A little beach house located in the heart of Pacific Beach San Diego, yet tucked in a private nook. 1.5 blocks to the beach, 3 blocks from the bay. Surrounded by restaurants and bars. Supermarket, gym, shopping, and bus stop all on the same block.

The space

There are two small bedrooms with multiple beds, there are also a few couches that can sleep up to three if needed. Please note, the queen sized bed is lofted, so if you choose to use this bed, you must be comfortable with and practice safety when ascending. Also, one of the single beds is a bunk bed and has a max weight limit of 180lbs.

There is a private courtyard with a small climbing wall exclusive to this house. Please use the wall at your own risk. There are climbing shoes of various sizes located in the closet of one of the small bedrooms. The hot tub is currently not working.

There is an attachmented bedroom that will be locked off from your portion of the house. This bedroom has its own entrance and may be occupied; though it will not interfere with your stay.

Guest access

You will be able to access the courtyard, the living room and kitchen, and the two small bedrooms.

I may or may not be available to offer suggestions or guidance, however, I have compiled a list of restaurants and activities that may be interesting for guests

Other things to note

There is no private parking on the premises. Due to the close proximity to the beach as well as restaurants, bars and shopping, parking can sometimes take a few minutes and you may find that you are parked a couple blocks away. Be aware that some parking immediately surrounding the property is long term while other parking has a 2-hour limit Mon-Sat. Also be aware of street sweeping the first week of the month.
Free long term street parking:
1) Bayard St (between Hornblend & Garnet except on Tuesday when there is a Farmers Market)
2) Hornblend St. (North side of the street)

you may pull up to the front gate (hornblend st) or the back alley (between Grand St and Hornblend St) if you wish to unload luggage

This house is located behind 911 Hornblend St. You may enter from the front gate labelled 911 from 6am-11pm. You may enter through the back alley from all hours (instructions to enter from the back are listed under location).

There is a small gated courtyard exclusive to this house. There is a hot tub that is currently out of order. Please be respectful to the neighbors with regard to noise after 12am.

The apartment was great, and Craig was very helpful with our stay. It's in a perfect location, and was big and roomy. I would definitely stay here again.
