Welcome to my spacious and and artfully presented apartment in Stoke Newington/Stamford Hill. My place has a kitchen diner with room to eat and work, and a big separate living room. Excellent underground, bus and overground transport links.

The space

This is a spacious (70sq m) flat with a big living room and kitchen. Newly decorated, it was built in the 1930s and has lots of original features. It is lovely and light with quality furnishings.

The place is set right back from the road so there are no road noises, although you can hear cars coming in to park sometimes.

In the living room there is a big video projector that you can connect your computer up to and two comfortable sofas. There are also plenty of books and DVDs.

In the kitchen there is a big fridge, a table that seats four, and plenty of space to work, or cook and eat. There's also a washing machine.

The bathroom has a nice victorian-style shower as well as a bath. Lots of towels.

Guest access

You have your own room. The living room, kitchen-diner and bathroom are shared with me.

Interaction with guests

I'd love to help make your stay enjoyable so just ask me questions. I'm often out in the day but sometimes working from home.

I stayed for a week in Kim’s lovely apartment. The place is perfectly located in a rather quiet part of London (the very hip Stoke Newington area), which still offers quick access to both buses and the overground for getting around the city. The entire place gave a good feeling of coziness, with a big private room and clean bathroom and kitchen. Kim was lovely to spend the evenings with, and we had a great time just listening to music and talking. This is exactly the magic of airbnb: connecting to charming people who help make you feel right at home. I will be more than happy to stay at Kim’s the next time I’m in town.

The flat is super clean and full of art and Kim is so lovely and hospitable. We were chatting, cooking and sharing together, even taking care of me when I got a cold.I'm really thankful and touched. I had a great time to stay the flat with her.Definitely I would recommend Kim's place. Hope I stay again!

Kim's flat was described incredibly accurately and I couldn't be more thankful for her hospitality. It is a great area with a multitude of things to do, eat and explore. I was able to make my way around the Stoke Newington area with ease, as there are so many routes to central London, e.g King's Cross is 20-30 minutes away by bus. Kim provided many things that would help me with my stay in her beautiful and clean apartment. I am incredibly grateful to have had her as my host! Will definitely stay with her again!

Kim's apt is exactly as in the photos, modern, clean, comfy and with all the necessary items for my stay. I also needed a place to work with my laptop and the desk, chair and sofa did the job perfectly, hi-speed internet was a blessing too. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook lunch and dinners during my stay. The place is well connected with Overground trains and several bus stops to East London and city center. The neighbourhood is really nice and with a lot of character - plenty of Cafes, gardens, restaurants and pubs. Kim is a really interesting person with a passion and great taste for art and music - undoubtedly, one of most open minded and lovely people I have met in London! Overall the apartment and Kim were amazing, I would definitely recommend them and come back!
