Description

The space

The space is unique because of its location. In the heart of the city, close to downtown, museums, restaurants, bars, shopping, and coffee shops. About 20 min from the airport depending on traffic. If you are up for an adventure the lakes are 2 blocks away where you can rent paddle boards, canoes, and bikes. Public transportation a few blocks away. The home is very old and quirky. The bathroom is very functional but unique. Overhead lighting was not a thing when the home was built, so lamps are available, and feel free to move them around from room to room. Professionally cleaned so the cleaning fee is slightly higher. The host eats most of the cleaning costs.

Guest access

The entire 3rd floor including the porch, and basement for laundry.

Interaction with guests

I am always available via text / call for emergencies or if you need something that is not provided.

The neighbourhood

East lake of the Isles is a quite neighborhood close to the lakes, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Highly walk-able and close to public transportation.

Getting around

Public transportation maps provided in the unit.

Other things to note

A dog lives in the house on the first floor with the owners.

Sarah And Derek User Profile

My husband and I are young working corporate professionals who love to travel and explore our Minneapolis neighborhood. We are primarily hosts on Airbnb, but also love to travel.

The private 3rd level of our home is a one bedroom suite, so we open it to guests.

Our house has 3 floors- the first we live on, the second we rent out, and the 3rd unit we share with guests.

Let me know if you need Minneapolis advise on where to eat, what to do, and what to see while you are here. Minneapolis has a wide variety of concerts, Arts, museums, micro breweries, eat street, lakes, and festivals.
