Please note: this flat is on the 3rd floor of a building with no lift.

The space

Our home is a luxurious and comfortable fully-serviced apartment with 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en suite). It’s on the 3rd floor of a traditional mansion block that’s been recently restored. The space is spotlessly clean, full of light and has its own fully furnished private roof terrace with incredible views across the city. Great for an evening drink! There’s flat screen TVs throughout the flat also and a central media system with speakers in every room.

I have provided a tablet at the property that has all the instructions for the flat and should answer any questions you have about where things are located. It also has my recommendations for the area!

This rooms contains a wonderfully comfy double bed, wardrobe and ensuite bathroom (shower only). We’ve restored the original fireplace and left some of the brickwork exposed to give it a very special “cosy and traditional yet modern” feel.

Please note that this bedroom is exposed to the sounds of the main street (Clapham Road) and there are often emergency vehicles headed down this road with sirens. If you are a light sleeper it would be best to sleep in the second bedroom.

This room is tastefully furnished with a beautiful double bed and wardrobe. Similar exposed brickwork to the main bedroom.

The kitchen and living room are large, generous spaces that flow fluidly together and form the hub of the flat. The kitchen is fully-equipped with hob, oven, microwave and fridge, and its key feature is a large island in the centre of the room. There’s a flat screen TV to keep the chef company and guests are very welcome to make use of our Nespresso machine (which we leave fully supplied with pods) - so you can be sure to get a great cup of coffee whenever you fancy. There’s also a selection of teas to choose from.

The living room is a large, wooden floored space with a beautiful feature fireplace as the focal point of the room. Our sofa is huge and makes for a very cosy area that we love to chill in. There’s also a 50” flatscreen TV.

The main bathroom is our pride and joy! It’s a quiet, peaceful space with a separate bath and walk-in shower. The designer bath is a lovely comfortable shape and has its own TV on the wall, making bath times are a real treat (as they should be).

Guest access

Guests have complete access to the apartment. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free, on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport…or anything else you might fancy. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Full details will be provided at check-in.

Interaction with guests

When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be.

As you may be aware, London has a 90 day policy on Short Term Holiday Lets.
In order to allow me to continue sharing my home with guests like yourself, sometimes I allow people to rent my property for longer periods at certain times of the year.
This means that from time to time, people ask to view the property in advance.
Although this is rare, if you do make a booking with me (and I’d love for you to stay!), please bear in mind that a viewing may take place, but I promise to let you know and it will be very short!

Lovely place to stay..nice and central to everything . Just a couple of things would a good idea to maybe have a couple of extra bar stools as with 2 it's not enough for a family to sit and eat. Spare toilet is a huge problem with getting blocked up. Had a fantastic time

Stayed at the property with my boyfriend and parents for the weekend as I was running the London Marathon. The flat provided everything we needed - plenty space for 4 adults and a much needed bath for myself post-run! Good location, extremely close to Clapham North tube station, with a Sainsbury's Local a stones throw away. All in all, a great stay :)

Very lovely place. Spacious and clean. Lovely view as it is on the top floor. Worth the climb. Going up the steps is a small issue. Traveling is very convenient as the bus stop is right in front with frequent bus services and the tube round the corner. The Sainsbury is opened 7 days of the week. Love it love it.

Trevor's home is accurately depicted in the pictures. It was cozy, clean, and offered all the necessary equipment to prepare a meal if one wanted to stay in. Adapters were also provided for our phones and computers which was amazing! Trevor's home is located about a minute walk away from the trains(Clapham North) which is extremely helpful when traveling. The tablet in the kitchen was a big help when looking up areas to visit in the neighborhood, tourist sight deals, and arranging a taxi. Clapham is a very nice neighborhood with great restaurants and pubs. We explored the neighborhood and felt safe doing so. I'm happy that my first experience with Airbnb was at Trevor's place. Be aware that it is located at the top floor of a 4 floor walk up which can be challenging when carrying multiple heavy suitcases. Overall, I had a great time and my family and I would highly recommend it.

We had a great stay in Trevor's apartment, we found it nicely decorated and the kitchen equipped with all appliances you might need (incl ice-cube maker :-). Luxurious bathroom and en-suite shower/toilet to the bedroom was very practical when you are with more people. Great plus was of course the roof terrace with a relaxing sofa and nice view. Some small points of critic would be the sky television which seemed not to really show the sky channels only the "normal" ones, and the apartment might not be that suitable for people with small children as it is on the third floor without lift and the neighbours are quite sensitive to noise made on the stairs. Apartment is in a good location with underground & supermarket minutes away and a good choice of restaurants /shops nearby as well as the Clapham Common park.
