Interaction with guests
We occasionally stay at the main house and, if we are there, will be happy to help but will not intrude. If we are not there, we have someone who will be available to help who lives about 10 minutes away.
Other things to note
Although we do not wish to discourage children from enjoying Les Sources, parents wishing to bring children should be aware that the house is on the banks of the river. Although It is only accessible by walking down a long path, and the river is quite shallow especially in the summer, it does pose a risk for younger children who cannot swim. Caution needs to be taken in terms of keeping any eye on them with regard to both the river and the pool.
Please note the house is on the banks of the river so parents must be vigilant at all times , especially with younger children , Although the river is shallow, It may pose a risk for unsupervised children. Access to the river is via a paved path down to an open flat river bank area. there are no gates or barriers. Please note the pool is also not fenced in but there are are two pool alarms.
We've lived in our beautiful 500 year old house for 20 years now and the children grew up here and had a wonderful time in the 5 acres of grounds and outhouses. We have also just bought a beautiful old riverside house and cottage overlooking the Dordogne near Bergerac in France that we also share with guests. We run a commercial and residential interiors business (Karavan) and, hopefully, our houses both in the UK and in France reflect this. They are beautifully appointed with top quality, stylish furniture and accessories.
