We stayed in the apartment that was located in Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 448, Barcelona. For some reason the Airbnb didn't show the address right for me after reservation and there was certain confusion when we arrived to Barcelona and apartment wasn't located where I thought it was. Nevertheless, the location was central and apartment fitted well for five travelers (two couples, one single). It is easy to use the metro and you can walk to most central areas (distance to Plaça de Catalunya is about 1,8km). During our stay there were some necessities missing, such as hand was, shower gel, shampoo, dishwash powder and additional toilet paper. I wish that the host will read our feedback and offer these to next visitors, as it would be quite a small effort for host to provide these. I'd recommend this apartment for travelers as it is spacious and provides a good accommodation for five persons (I think there was an option to put and extra bed and accommodate sixth person...).

Hello Eppu, thank you for the review. It is true that the address is not well written (airbnb doesn't let us change it), but on the map appears the good location. We will think about providing all the stuff you said, thanks for the advice.

The apartment is in a good location, metro is right in front of the building. The apartment itself despite having old furniture serves the purpose of staying a few days with friends or family. Francisco was easy to communicate with.. So overall I recommend this place for small groups.

It was difficult to have everyone's passport before arriving to the airbnb because each person was arriving separately. Otherwise, the stay was fun and welcoming. The apartment was in a good location and had a nice view of the city.

The place is very spacious and well located the metro is easy to figure out and there is a station out side the front door. The furniture desperately need to be changed and a through cleaning done on the apartment. Francisco is pleasant and responds quickly. Our washing machine broke and he replaced it promptly if the improvements are made I would recommend this place

The building facade is shabby at best, with the first floor covered in graffiti, the sidewalk covered in cigarette butts and debris. Once inside the apartment the walls are covered in dirt, marks and the electrical switches are soiled. Even the fake flower arrangement is filthy. The furniture looks like it was purchased at a second hand store and was never cleaned, one chair has an arm that is ripped open and the stuffing of the chair is just hanging out of the upholstery. Many lightbulbs were burned out in the light fixtures so the apartment had a very dark and ominous feel to it, kind of scary. The apartment is situated on a main street and has bars and cafes, so it is loud all night with the sounds of cars, buses and people partying. When we went across the street at 11 PM to get some cash from the ATM there, we were not able to go inside as we found three homeless people sleeping INSIDE the ATM. No soap, shampoo or any kind of cleaning supplies were present. There was only four rolls of toilet paper provided for four adults for a two day stay. There was no bottled water, coffee or anything at all for us in the kitchen. The entire building is filthy, tired and in bad need of cleaning top to bottom. The elevator shaft has large balls of hair, lint and dust between each floor. The walls are either half painter, or have not been painted for decades. The front of the building is covered in graffiti, the sidewalk in front of the building is littered with cigarette butts, and debris. The foyer of the building also has cigarette butts and debris on the floor, half painted dirty walls, with cracks in the ceiling and walls, with a wasp nest hanging from the ceiling. The building has a very old basement smell as you walk in. The apartment level hallway is also half painted, patched and dirty. There are bare wires hanging directly above the door of the apartment. The rug, or mat, in front of the apartment door is old, ragged and dirty and is falling apart. The beds: The beds are ancient and covered in urine stains and the pillows are yellow and smell terrible. The two larger beds are of the old variety and have springs that squeak and pop and make noises every time you move. The smaller bed is as hard as a rock and is covered in urine stains. The bed linens were fresh and clean, but that did not cover the smells coming from the pillows and mattresses. Francisco threatened me, harassed me and insulted me over and over. I asked him to stop contacting me and he did not stop, he accused me of stealing the keys to the apartment !. I demand my money back, we left and found another place the next day. BEWARE !
