We had a wonderful stay at Josefina & Antonio's flat. The location is great in an old quiet part of town but with lots of great cafes and tapas just down the hill. The flat was also very unique with a great terrace to enjoy for the cooler parts of the day. Overall would definitely recommend for any visit to Grenada.

The apartment is very comfortable and is situated in a calm, authentic neighbourhood. At night it is very quiet. At the same time, at a walking distance there are many nice restaurants and bars. From the nice roof terrace you have a view on the mountains and over Granada. The Alhambra is walking distance (about 15 minutes) as well as the city centre. Josefina was our host and was very friendly and helpful. All in all I would certainly recommend this place.

We stayed for three nights in Antonio's lovely apartment in the Realejo (Jewish quarter). We never actually met Antonio and were instead greeted by Josefina who was a great hostess - helping us with our luggage, giving directions, leaving lots of tourist tips and even sorting a broken door handle for us. The location is very quiet and the terrace is amazing. I would advise you to bring decent walking shoes as you are surrounded by steep, cobbled hills which can be quite hard to walk on (although there are railings). Despite this you are very close to the Alhambra and from a number of bars, shops and restaurants. The wifi can drop out at times but was enough for what we needed. I would definitely recommend.

Antonio's appartment was perfect for us! Josefina pickend us up and was very welcoming and most helpful. The pictures and text describe the place quite accurate. There was really nothing missing, even some spices, oil and vinegar. We'd highly recommend this place to anybody who wants a quiet appartment in walking distance to the main attractions in Granada!

I loved being in the apartment and enjoyed finding my way around the area. It is very central, but is not in a good location if you have trouble walking or managing steps. It is in a quiet pedestrian area, pretty close to the main areas of Granada. Antonio and Josefina were lovely hosts and made my visit very special.

Pros :quite neighborhood, scenic location, interesting interiors, huge terrace with a view. Would recommend this place if you are seeking absolute peace and are planning to spend atleast a week in the city. Cons We had visited the city for 2 nights mainly to see Alhambra and it was a task to do the climb everytime we had to step out for a meal. The flat was really hot, no fans or air con. We couldn't open the windows due to bugs. The bathroom was dingy and not very clean. The bedrooms lacked ventilation and we were really suffocated.we had to catch a night bus and no taxi driver agreed to pick us near the flat, so we had to climb down with all our luggage in the middle of the night. Absolutely loved granada but wish we had stayed somewhere else.

Response from Antonio:
Dear Sonal, I am sorry that you didn't feel well during your stay in Granada, and sorry to hear that you couldn´t enjoy the flat. The fan was and is in the big wardrobe, available for our clients. Perhaps you could have informed Josefina about the fact you felt the apartment to be hot, you were in contact with her anyway? I did my best describing the apartment (no AC, which I havn't installed due to my ecologic point of view). But yes, all travellers, please read the descriptions so that you know what to expect! I live just above the apartment, and sleep with windows open, in Granada temperatures go down during the night. For me it works quite well, and I don't have problems with bugs at all, normally there are no mosquitos in Granada due to the dry weather. I don't know what has happened... But I will tell Josefina to explain the guests how to keep the temperature acceptable, opening all up during the night! About cleanlyness: We are cleaning very well after each guest and normally don't have any complaints, so I don't understand your complaints about cleanlyness. And the bathroom was completely reformed a year ago. About the taxi: you had bad luck with the taxi, but no taxi which we work with did work at the time you needed one. I am sorry! We will work on more taxi driver contacts. Because at the official RadioTaxi you can't book a taxi in advance at all! I am very sorry, but please keep in mind that big part of how you felt was due to the fact that you hadn't read well the descriptions, so your expectations were different and not fullfilled! It is pointed out that we are on the Alhambra hill, 5 min walk downwards to Plaza Nueva, there are fotos of the cobbled streets, streets downwards..... and we are proud of being able to share this special part of Granada with our guests!
