The quiet neighborhood is a perfect place for a morning jog or walk. There’s even a ukulele to play.
Hale Kohola is a rare find for privacy, beauty, natural quiet and Island Living. Guests are welcome to pick limes, tangerines or bananas on the property, (in season) and enjoy the fragrant plumeria and Tahitian gardenias. The landscaping focuses on species native to Hawaii, including a few endangered species.
During humpback whale season (November thru April) the spouts and breaches of these massive animals are visible from the house. The owners make their home in a small town in Alaska, spending part of the winter on the Big Island enjoying the local foods, culture and ocean and doing whale and dolphin research with the non-profit Hawai'i Marine Mammal Consortium ((URL HIDDEN)
Fully equipped; comfortable and clean, you will find Hale Kohola to be the perfect retreat for your dream vacation in Hawaii.
