New House Rules, Check In and Check Out & Cleaning Standards Standards
Starting 26.04.2016 (Does not apply to bookings made before 26.04.2016)
In principle the main house rules are to take good care of the house, always mind your neighbours, keep the party outside in the clubs, no loud music or noises after late hours (some neighbours might be sleeping).
Regarding The Check In And Check Out procedures and rules
In principle, we try to be as flexible as possible, but we have introduced rules in order to have a proper way of working and to respect our working standards of quality. How does it work:
General Check in Time is from 14:00 to 18:00.
General Check out Time is from 09:00 to 10:00.
We can know if we can push check out up to 12:00 (midday) only the night before check out. If we can we will do it. If not we will stick to the rules. It all depends on the work volume of the day of check out.
Only when possible (If we can manage it) For a late Check out (after 12:00 midday) , from 12:00 to 14:00 there is a fee of 15 EUROS.
Only when possible (If we can manage it) For a late Check out (after 14:00) , from 14:00 to 16:00 there is a fee of 25 EUROS.
Only when possible (If we can manage it) For a late Check out (after 16:00) there will be charged the full price for a day (night) of staying.
For Check in from 18:00 to 20:00 there is a fee of 10 EUROS
For Check in from 20:00 to 00:00 and over midnight there is a fee of 25 EUROS
If the guest would like to Check In before 14:00 or to make sure he can Check In early (for example like early morning) we highly recommend to the guest that he books also the day in advance. (For example there are guests that arrive early morning like from 08:00 to 09:30 or 10:00 am or even 01:00 or 02:00 am in the middle of the night on the date of the booked night). We highly recommend in order to make sure to check in early (if this is imperative) to book as well the night before.
What does this mean
Of course, if the place our guests have booked is free and they would like an early check in , if we can , we will 100% manage it free of charge.
Unless the guest secures it's early check in, we will only know if we can provide an early check in the night before check in. If we can we will do it. If not we will stick to our rules. (We always know the night before arrival if the apartment will be free or what hour the guests before will leave and how we will manage cleaning).
The main reason why we have implemented the check in and check out rules comes from the respect we carry for our guests. We need to have enough time to deliver proper cleaning for our guests and for our next guests. We have implemented new high standards of quality for our cleaning procedures and work flow and this is the reason why we need to have this check in and check out hours. In order to have enough time for the team to clean the spaces.
Regarding the fees for late check in. Why do they apply?
Well, our colleagues, which are working hard in order to provide the best environment for our guests staying are also human beings. If our guests decide to check in late / have to, it means that one of our colleagues will have to take away from it's private time and the time from his loved ones in order to make the check in. Depending on the hour he might also need a taxi for it. Always the guest should ask itself, what is that person making a late check in sacrificing to be there.
That is why we highly appreciate everybody's time and we have introduced the fees for late check in.
Once again please note, we try to be flexible. But we are not 100% sure we can always be. It always depends on the work flow and team availability.
If we can, we will always be flexible. But we can never know in advance the dynamics of the team & work flow of the day of check in.
Which is why good communication is always important and required.
Check in, Check out and Communication
Our team will contact our guests regarding check in and check out time and the guest's preference.
Depending on every guests priorities, the volume of work of the check in and or check out day, our team will arrange with the guests, check in and check out for the next day.
For example, let s say a guest would like a late check out. Of course, if we have a day with little work volume, we will do it. But if we have a day with a busy work volume (a lot of work) we will have to stick to it and or apply the extra fees in order to have a lean work environment and respect our standards of work for our guests.
