Beautiful Bight Cottage is a pretty three bedroom fishermans' cottage in Albert Street, off Harbour St, in the heart of Whitstable's historic conservation centre,on the Kent coast and is just over an hour from London and 7 miles from Canterbury.
Option also to rent Nicky's beach hut on a daily basis. A fabulous vintage inspired beach hut, with bunting, quirky 50's decor and everthing you need for a day by the sea.
Right on the front row,the best way to enjoy those famous Turner seascapes.
Bight Cottage is a delightful vintage inspired home to stay in, with a shabby chic vibe, making you feel relaxed and comfortable, and only a stone's throw from the beach. Upstairs white washed boards, coir matting and two double bedrooms with cast iron, old school super comfy beds give you an idea of what's in store. The top attic room, again with white washed floors and traditional iron single beds takes you back in time and is surprisingly light and airy. Vibrant "Pip" bedding and towels add colour to the calm white backdrop. Downstairs the sitting room is cosy (working real fire for winter days, please supply your own coal. Please do not use the fireplace in the back parlour.) with florals, but of course has all the mod cons with TV and Wifi. The back parlour has a table for six, with original Victorian features and great for relaxed dinning in and entertaining. The kitchen, with a real slate floor, is fully equipped with all you could ever need including dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom at the back has a slate floor, a shower over the bath and is fresh and newly fitted. A lovely sun trapped pebbled garden with picnic bench and washing line gives a pretty out door space to relax in and enjoy a glass of something special. And all so very near the beach.......
