Thank you Joanne (and family) for welcoming us in to your lovely cottage. Everything was perfect. The cottage is absolutely lovely with super views. You are such a lovely host and made us feel so welcome and thanks for going out of your way to make us a lovely cooked breakfast, so nice.

We got a lovely welcome, and cooked breakfast the next morning. Joanne and her son Ryan were kind enough to let us keep the room until the afternoon, as we had a wedding to go to. We really appreciated having somewhere to get ready after our visit to Thetford forest in the morning.

It was a last minute booking as something else fell through. Not easy to find and isolated but still noisy from the main road nearby. The double room we had was small and the bathroom along the corridor and shared with everyone upstairs. Personally I didn't feel this was great value compared to some wonderful places we have stayed.

Joanne's cottage is such a warm and friendly place to stay...not only is Joanne so lovely, the room was cosy and she and her partner made us a fantastic cooked breakfast on Sunday morning...absolutely perfect if you're at Haughley Park Barn for a wedding, or just in the area to explore/ for business. Thanks so much again! Ben and Jayne xx

I am a friendly outgoing lady. I work in the media from home. I have 4 children, 3 of which have flown the nest which leaves my son Robin who is currently studying for his GCSE's . Among my favourite pursuits are reading, cooking for the people I care about , and keeping fit. I do body balance which is a mix of Tai chi. pilates and yoga and also spin at our local gym. I love being outdoors and enjoy exploring both the Suffolk and North Norfolk coast.
My son plays for Bury St Edmunds rugby club so not only do I turn out to cheer them on the sidelines I am also involved in their fund raising activities.
