Gorgeous little forest lodge. Spotless and homely with everything you could possibly need for a week away. Even better than the pictures. Such a peaceful setting, the only thing you can hear at night is the owl in the woods. Would definitely recommend!

Great relaxing break in a forest in North Devon. Woke to birds singing every morning and beautiful sunny weather. The lodge house was clean, well equipped and well appointed with two light and airy bedrooms with ensuite facilities and downstairs shower room. Ideal for exploring North Devon - the 16 mile bike ride down the old train tracks was a challenge but the cream teas at Helle Corn Mill were superb. If you want a tranquil, relaxing place to stay then this is the place for you. I would advise taking basic provisions for cups of tea etc on your arrival as local shops a car ride away. The lodge provided us with everything we wanted and more and would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Hi Stephanie Thank you so much for your review it certainly helps us to know that we are doing things well for our guests. Whilst we have no control over the sign to the lodges we can improve on our own directions to the lodges. Many thanks Jane

I run a business that rents holiday/longer stay property in North Devon. Although I currently live in Oxfordshire with my husband Peter my family live in Devon so I still have deep connections there.
I have many interests but interiors and property are a passion and I strive to create homely and unique environments within our properties. We like to travel and enjoy the local cultures especially food and wine wherever we are.
Life is far too short for a whole lot of procrastination…make a decision and live life!
