I had a fantastic stay at Veronica's house in the woods. The house is very thoughtfully and tastefully designed, spacious and airy inside with enticing views of the mountains from the bedroom. The location is perfect, tucked away among chestnut and silver birch trees with plenty of private outside space. Veronica is a great host, easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to any questions I had. Although the house is a little tricky to find, she provided me with excellent instructions on how to reach it by car from the airport. Cerro itself is a delightful village, just 10 minutes walk away with a couple of friendly bars where you can eat well, right on the waterfront. The nearest large town, Laveno, has everything you might need for your stay, including a lively weekly market, and provides great connections by boat to the other side of the lake. My only small regret was forgetting to apply insect repellent on the first evening - the romantic location in the woods is also a popular spot for mosquitoes!

Veronica is a great host; replies fast to e-mails and gives clear information. the house is even better than the photos on this website; the bedroom is super beautiful and huge, the garden is also very big and beautiful. Cerro is a small town but very cute and nice with friendly people. there are a lot of restaurants close (also in Reno). you can take a ferry boat to the other side of the lake at Laveno, very nearby. We were there with 6 months old babies (twins) and this was a perfect destination. We recommend this house to everybody!

Veronica's house is the perfect location for quite and relaxed holidays close to the lake. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the house and the remote location in between old trees. The house was equipped with everything you might need and offered a great time for our family.

The apartment met our expectations in full. We liked the the style and functionality of the house. The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful. Despite the hot July weather the bedroom was cool enough. Special thanks for the driving tips and the cold prosecco in the fridge when we arrived, and to Lucia who did the check-in check-out so nicely.

We were well received and spent relaxing days at the house. Located in the woods and inland, it is very quiet and amongst nature. The house is spacious for a couple and a child and equipped with the basics for a pleasant stay. Veronica was very helpful since the first contact, though the location is not easy to find we had the help we needed to find it. Close by one may find local restaurants, which are not pricy a with good local food. We have had a very pleasant time and hope to return.

We really enjoyed our stay in Cerro. The house is very nice, especially the bedroom, and surrounded by green. Veronica was a lovely host, and even though she was abroad, she provided us with lot of tips and tricks... We would highly recommend the house for other people, though, on the condition that you have a car or a bicycle as public transport such as trains are located a bit too far to reach by foot.

Meraviglioso! Again it has been such a pleasant, relaxing stay at the little house, even on rainy days we felt comfortable and had some great holidays on Lago Maggiore. Thanks a lot, Grazie mille und herzlichen Dank!
