My sister and I had a lovely time at this very tranquil place, surrounded by meadows with horses. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was great having a kettle, tea, coffee and milk as well as a variety of cereals in our room. Many thanks! We had lovely dry weather when we…

Response from Lucy:
We enjoyed having Alex to stay with us and continue to enjoy the comedy which has ensued as a result. There was a teeny bit of confusion and Alex, hilariously, reviewed somewhere else. This is his real response: "Firstly, I must announce that there were no trams in Caerwent. Please do not wait for one. Secondly, I absolutely implore every visitor to this page to stay here. The surrounding areas are so gorgeous and the house and the gardens and the horses and the dog and the Lucy and co are lovely - especially the dog, so adorable. I cannot believe they charge so little. If Newport is Mordor then Caerwent is truly the Shire. Thanks for having me, see you again." No trams here! Thank you, Alex.
