Stay at our cozy retro cabin 20 meters from the fjord. With a partially new kitchen and bathroom.

You get the reel feeling of beeing far from people although the road is close, and the cabin easy to find. Enjoy the mountains and the fjord, here you live in it!

The space

Close to the beautiful fjord, nice view, good space.

There are water and electricity in the cabin but no internet and television (it is the best part)

Erle's place was a great find! We booked just a few days before we needed a place (travelling Norway) and it wasn't a problem at all. The house was ready to go and is equiped with everything you might need while roaming a country. Some of the furniture might benefit from an upgrade, but everything is usable and clean. The space is great for up to six persons. Since there is an extra unfinished small cabin with double bed also. The location is perfect to explore the Nygaardsbreen, Urnes stavkyrkje, do some boating and to get a good feel for the surroudings of the lustrefjorden (the sights outside the livingroom/ garden are perfect). All in all it's a great location for a good price. Don't moan about the stairs and enjoy your stay!

The cabin is in a very beautiful location. Having Sognefjord right outside your window is a priceless experience. The area is really great. There's plenty of things to do and beautiful views to enjoy. There are no luxuries in the cabin but all basic needs are covered. Except, maybe for wifi. Mobile internet is very good in the area so it's not a big problem for anyone with an EU internet package. Parking on the road and having to go up the stairs to get to the cabin was a bit of a shock the first day when after a long trip we had to lift heavy suitcases up the staircase. But it wasn't a problem the rest of the time. We got used to it very quickly. The cabin is quite spacious. A big living room / kitchen and 2 decent bedrooms. Perfect for a family with 1 or 2 children. We never met the host in person, but communication over Airbnb messages was quick, pleasant and perfectly effective. We had a very positive overall experience.

The cabin was very clean and simple, exactly what we were expecting. Price quality is right. The exterior would need a refreshment so would the garden to appreciate more the nice view on the fjord. We were only worried at the beginning that the car wouldnt be safe next to the main road but there were no troubles finally. Ben&Maite

The cabin was in very good conditions. Spacious, clean and well equipped. The bathroom has floor heating and is in very good condition. The only drawback I found was the long, sliding ladder. As we had rainy days even my wife slipped and fell. The fjord views are great. The house is very quiet.

We had a marvelous time in the red cabin of Erle. It was very comfy and clean. It is a great home base to explore the area, especially the Jotunheimen National Park. The cabin is a bit of an adventure as well as a place where you are completely on your own. Please be aware that there is a rather long stair case up to the cabin. Erle is a great host, who is very quick in answering any questions. We were very happy to stay there, relax and come down.

The cabin has a unique location, private, with a superb view over the fjord, both from the cabin and the small garden. It was a challenge though to carry the heavy bags up on a steep and slippery stairway when it was smoothly raining upon arrival.
