Welcome to your home away from home! With over 3,000 square feet situated on a 0.6 acre partially wooded lot, House on the Hill offers everything you need- all while being 2.5 miles from University of Florida's campus and centrally located in NW Gainesville.
The kitchen is connected to the family room by the spacious breakfast bar and the family room features a wood burning brick fireplace and sliding door that opens to the multi-level tile patio. The upper level of the house features 3 bedrooms, 1 office and two baths. The lower level has the TV room which features a bar and a beautiful view of the lush backyard that connects to the tile patio. It also has a double size bed. Off the downstairs TV room there is an interior laundry/utility room. Centrally located to shopping, restaurants and the University of Florida- House on the Hill is your home away from home!
Guests will have access to the entire house and garage, less a few locked closets with our personal belongings. We live in this home and there are clothes in the closets and personal belongings in the drawers. However, there is plenty of space in the closets for you to hang your clothes.

Gainesville has so many wonderful restaurants, bars, breweries, and shopping venues. It also features a great deal of hiking and biking trails and is close to beautiful nature spots. We are happy to help you find what you are looking for during your visit.
Other things to note
We apologize for any inconvenience but we do not allow smoking in our home. Also, we do not allow the space to be used for parties or events. If you would like to host an event or party at the home, please let us know and we are willing to negotiate the terms. Thanks so much!
We love our home and neighborhood and expect our guests to be courteous, clean, and enjoy Gainesville! No smoking is allowed on the property. We also ask that you do not have events or parties at the house. If you are interested in doing so, please contact us and we can discuss and potentially negotiate this. Similarly, we do not allow pets but are open to discussing and negotiating this on a person by person (or rather pet by pet) basis. We do live here and all of our personal belongings are in the home so we thank you in advance for respecting it in the same manner you would want your home to be treated.
