Mile End is Montreal’s most desirable neighbourhood – an artist and musician mecca, creativity and inspiration lurk behind every street corner. It’s also a wonderful location for families, surrounded by parks and delicious kid-friendly restaurants and cafés. Mile End is a great place for visitors of all ages, with something for everyone.
Situated on quiet Av. De l’Esplanade between Bernard and Van Horne, in the heart of Mile End, our ground floor apartment is just steps away from delicious brunch spots, charming cafés, funky terrasses, quirky bookshops, art galleries, parks, boutiques, groceries, bakeries, public transportation and Bixis. You’ll find Mile End to be not only a charming neighbourhood, but also the perfect central location for your stay in Montreal: a short walk or bike to the Plateau and beautiful Mt-Royal (Montreal’s Central Park), and a short bus ride or bike to downtown, Old Montreal, metros that take you anywhere you want to go, etc.
Our home is spacious, comfortable, and a lot of fun! There is a large master bedroom with private bathroom (including a shower and separate bath). A second bathroom has a washer and dryer as well as a shower and a bath. The second bedroom has a single bed and a pull-out double futon, and the third bedroom consists of a cozy baby room with a crib. There is a comfy central living room. Finally, there is a large, bright eat-in kitchen with full-size dining room table and dishwasher. Patio doors open onto a sunny garden off of the kitchen where there is a barbecue, tables and chairs, hammock, flowers, etc! In the evening, light some candles on the wrought iron staircase and enjoy dinner and wine outside! We have wifi, and provide sheets and towels, as well as a list of all of our favourite things to do in the neighbourhood.
We look forward to welcoming you to our home – your home away from home!

Hi! We are a couple in our thirties with two beautiful little boys - Rémi and Noah. I teach Art History and work in museum education, and my husband Jean-Michel teaches Geography. We love the outdoors, picnics with friends, biking everywhere, and meeting fun people. We love to travel, and have always stayed with host families. The simple and gregarious nature of this approach to traveling is something that we have always appreciated.
