The pictures don't do it justice. The atmosphere and energy of the nature and people there is beyond amazing. And the sites are beautiful to wake up to and fall asleep to.

Property is as described and the view is worth a million dollars! Owner met us at the property and walked us through everything. Would stay (URL HIDDEN) an adventure!

I don't think it gets better than living at the foot of the lava field leading to the ocean, so this was perfect for me. The hut and surrounds are very well designed and tended, such that it feels more like a retreat than a simple hut, e.g the solar lamp lit walk to the coast and the outdoor shower, and the beautifully landscaped yard around the hut. Dwight was flexible with my delayed arrival and responsive throughout my stay.

When following the distriction by Dwayne & Melissa it's easy ti find the rustic Bali hut. Don't trust your Iphone app. Your car can park right beside in shade all day long. The hut is just as written and so cozy. You got a few neighbors around but mostly you hear the birds, frogs and the waves of the ocean close by. The lot has juice oranges, coconuts, bananas, passion fruits, mangos, avocado on it and and lot more depending on season and it is for you to eat and enjoy. The hut has all essentials for cooking on the gas-cooker with herbs/oil, coffee&tea stuff, utensilties. The owner Dwayne greated us for introductions and left us fruit, nuts, breakfast cereals & coconut and rice milk. So it's more like a bed&breakfast. A real unexpected treat for us. The Bali hut has a desk & chairs, a queen bed with bedsidetable and some open shelfes and hangers for clothes. There is both a carosine lamp & lighter and/or solarpowered lights for nights and/or a car battery with in/converter for charging small gadgets. LED flashlights - towels - also for the beach - extra blankets on top of whats on the bed. Outside you got a green terrace with chairs and table with views over the ocean. We came on a wednesday and went down the street to Uncle Roberts 5pm-whenever they feel like closing. That's a gig not to miss! All the locals and other islanders brung their kids, own food and drinks and enjoy the free music & huladancers and meet up with old friends. You can buy beer at either the bar or the mart next door (2-4$). There are all kinds of hot-food-vendors, local organic producers and craftsmen. If you come in your car you csn park in their lavaparking area for 3$ or down the street for free. If you stay at the Bali hut it's a short 15 min stroll. The Lawa flow is at the day of writing 5 miles from the hut. You can hike there on the lava or you can take your car (free parking) and rent a bike (20$/person) and do it in 30 min each way. The Hawaii Lalala is a short walk crossing the street and has washer/dryer (free of charge and with soap). Boogieboards and snorkelgear for borrow. There is a common area with free wifi, television and book exchange.
