My experience of staying with Zhen ranks amongst my best airbnb experiences to date. I had the pleasure of staying for two and a half months and within the first week felt at home. Zhen and his wife Agnes are very sincere, polite and down-to-earth people, who will ensure that you get the most out of your stay in D.C. I genuinely enjoyed all conversations I had with them and am glad to have made two new friends. I also had the chance to interact with Zhen's mother, who happens to conjure amazing Chinese meals. Do ask if you can try a meal if you get the chance! Overall, I would recommend staying here to anyone looking to have a good time in D.C. There is a nearby metro that connects to the red line and will take you anywhere you need to go. Long story short: superb experience!

Zhen and his family made me feel so welcome during my 2 month stay. They were great to chat with and respectful of my schedule. The house is very clean, the room is perfect for a young professional who needs a quiet place to study, rest and sleep. Private bathroom was a huge plus. Bed is very comfortable. House is close to the Glenmont metro station which has a free shuttle bus to the FDA (for FDA employees). Absolutely wonderful experience.

My experience was a positive one. The room was as advertised. Hats off to my host. The husband's father had just died, but they were still extremely gracious. My main complaint is that there isn't an iron.

This trip is very comfortable and cozy. We arrived 1 hour late but still get warm welcome. The house is in a private community locates very close to the major road. Metro is just 5 mins walk away. Very convenient and amazingly quiet in the night. Everything in this community is well organized and clean. Feels very safe. Besides, parking is so easy. The room is cozy and neat with private bathroom. WIFI works well. With the comfortable bed, we had 2 nights good reset during this tired trip (Walked 25,000+ steps per day). The cozy sofa in the room also helps a lot.We also benefit from the maps and traveling brochure provided on the table. It is a pity that we didn't got a chance to meet Mr. Zhen (He was out of town for business). But his wife and mother gave us very good help and provide the feeling like a family~ We got many tips and advises on the travel plan. It really helps. Besides, sorry for the late review. We were quite busy after comes back.

Originally I'm from China. Although my home town is famous for its liqueor, I'm definitely not an alcoholic =))))) But I can drink, challenge me!!!!! I'm a nonsmoker, too. LOVE to travel and to experience new things which, I believe, makes me grow and become mature. By talking to people from around the world and hearing their side of stories, I have come to some new thoughts about this planet we live in. I love Washington D.C. There are many great museums to check out, lots of trails for running and bicycling. Potomac river is a great place for kayaking during the summer. Just so many things to do in this city :)
