Thank you for taking the time to post your review. One of the challenges of living in the mountains is that we do not have cell phone coverage at the resort, and our internet access is also limited. That is why we rely upon our 2-way radios for after-hours check-in. By the time I saw your email message it was already past our closing time.
We apologize for your difficulty in locating our staff. However, even after midnight, we did respond and get you settled in to your cabin.
One of our staff initially thought that there were some intoxicated people in our parking lot having an argument at midnight, and that is why he reacted as he did. Shortly afterwards, you called on the radio and we then realized who was outside. I'm not sure I can apologize for this enough as it was a comedy of errors, and we certainly do no treat our guests this way.
We agree that we need to post better check in instructions for our Airbnb customers for after hours arrival, and we shall have them posted shortly.
