An extremely quiet, modern apartment situated directly in the middle of Friedrichshain

The space

The apartment is located at the back of the buiding across a small courtyard, so there is next to no noise coming from the street itself. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the neighbourhood in the evenings, but when in the apartment themselves, dont want the stress of listening to everyone else enjoy it!

The apartment itself has 2 bedrooms (although the smaller one is for my own use), a large living room/kitchen space, and a modern bathroom. Everything will be provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

This place was fantastic. Darius was quick with communication from the moment I booked, and was always available. He also checked in a few times at the beginning of the trip and toward the end to make sure everything was going well. He even left us a few beers to help out with the jet lag when we arrived, haha. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. It included pretty much everything that one would need to feel at home while away from home. The location of this apartment was particularly special. You could probably try a different bar or restaurant every day that you are in town. The streets get lively on Friday and Saturday, but since the apartment is in the back, it was always quiet. The apartment is also located very close to the Warschauer S and U stations, and there is a Kaiser market that is open late a few blocks away. Everything was super convenient. All in all, Darius made this an awesome Airbnb experience. I don't think the trip could have been any better. Thank you.

Darius made sure I felt welcome from the instant I arrived. Offering great tips and advice. Especially as I was relocating from the UK, the apartment would become my home for the 1st month in Berlin while I settled in to my new life. Everything I could want from an apartment was provided. The neighbourhood is lively, lots of great bar, restaurants and cafes for all budgets. One of the best streets to stay in Friedrichstain. Step in the apartment, calm and quiet. Loved the whole experience. Wonderful host. Highly recommend.

Whilst traveling from Australia visiting family and friends in my native homeland Germany I caught up with my adult son in Berlin. We had a wonderful stay at Darius' 2 bedroom apartment in Berlin Friedrichsshain. Perfect location in a thriving vibrant part of Berlin with lots of restaurants and bars and attractions on your door step. Yet it was a quiet peaceful retreat for a lovely nights sleep in comfy beds after a busy day. Everything we needed was provided in this spacious, modernised lovely ground floor 'Hinterhaus' flat, including fluffy big towels, access to washer & iron etc and we were offered to use some of the foodstuff eg condiments/spices, tea (coffeemaker for German/European visitors is a bonus suggestion) Unfortunately we were not able to meet with our very prompt, communicative and considerate host Darius. He left the key at an easy collection point with excellent instructions and went out of his way to provide a second set of keys for ease of access as my son & I had partially different schedules. His mobile text & email responses to a couple of queries were very prompt. It really felt like a home away from home and I would most certainly consider staying there on future visits to Berlin. Thank you Darius for making us so welcome! Highly recommended as great value at the price!
