We had spent great vacations in Andrea's place!
The bergerie is quite secluded, 400m from the nearest human settlement and therefore offers great escape from busy city life. We really loved the location, being only 30min drive from several nice beaches, and yet almost in the mountains, very peaceful and quiet. Don't forget to stargaze at night, there is hardly any better place for this activity! Only one watch-out - there is no internet and GSM signal is week so don't expect to have data transfer there. But I would say it was all for the good, as we had more time to admire the neighbourhood and to fully relax.
The whole property looks fantastic, very authentic, all stone building, some greenery, and nice patio. Yet inside you will find all the modern amenities. The chalet and especially the kitchenette are very well equipped, there is a washing machine too (in a closet accessible from outside). We were surprised to find all sorts of supplies in plenitude - things like sugar, salt, spices, household chemicals, toiletries, etc. Except dishwasher all useful equipment is there: microwave, induction plate, kettle, etc. I should also mention very comfortable beds, even the living room sofa was quite comfortable to sleep on. Air conditioning definitely very useful as during our stay (late August) it was constantly above 30 degrees outside. We stayed there with 2 children and it was OK, although we could use some more space. The place is definitely ideal for couples or 2+1 families.
What we did appreciate too was the water hose, we could was the dust from our car as many beaches in Corsica only have dusty ground road access. And to get to the chalet you will also need to drive 400m of ground road.
Andrea is a great host, very caring, she even allowed us to check-in early (10AM) without any additional fee, as there was nobody staying there the night before.
Overall we were very happy with Andrea's place and we warmly recommend it, especially for people looking for escape from the city noise and for being closer to the nature!
