This is a two bedroom apartment 5 blocks (1/2 mile) from Upenn, at 45th and Walnut. Modern space with ample sleeping, flat screen tv, full kitchen, and lively, transitioning neighborhood. Neighborhood is "transitional" and urban, very inexpensive uber to Upenn/philly, good during day, but not place for late night romantic walks. Subway two blocks away. some stairs so exercise!

The apartment was spacious, clean, and conveniently-located, though sparsely furnished. Kay was very helpful and responsive.

This was the worst airbnb we have ever stayed in. We didn't get the code to the place until very late the night before we were to fly out, so I was concerned all day that we wouldn't hear anything. Once we arrived at there it stunk so bad!!! There were bugs in the sink and also in the mugs in the cupboard. There were small black bug traps all over the apartment and the floors hadn't been vacuumed in months. I tried to reach out to Kay but there was no response from her until we contacted Airbnb help centre. Only then did she send a manager to vacuum the carpet ( the amount of stuff that was sucked up was incredible!). The kuerig machine worked for one cup of coffee then crapped out so we had to buy instant coffee. There were four of us and only 3 towels left for us. No facecloths, tea towels or dish cloths were there. I would not recommend staying here until a better property manager is in place.
