What a great find in Kitsilano! We found Eva and her property to be very welcoming for our family of 5. Vancouver was the first stop on our Canadian vacation. We were greeted by a very clean and well stocked home, and even a tasty bottle of wine! Kitsilano was a great little suburb of Vancouver with lots of cafes, shops and grocery stores within walking distance of this property. We liked that we were outside the heart of the city, but just a short drive or jaunt on public transportation to get in. The neighborhood felt safe and the house perfectly suited our needs. Eva was a gracious host and very accessible. She provided us with a thorough house manual and some great recommendations for dining, etc. We would definitely return to Eva's property and would highly recommend it to families traveling to the Vancouver area!

Response from Eva:
Thanks for your kind words, Yvette. We really enjoyed having you. Regarding the garage, sorry you couldn't find it; it's directly accessible through the little path from the back door of the house. Once you have gone through the door and opened the large garage door to the alley, you can then recognize it from the alley next time coming from the outside. I understand though that coming from the alley, you would have not recognized immediately which of the garages belongs to our house. The garbage bins and the garage also have our street number on it. You could have also left the garbage and let me know and our friends who were helping us while we were fine would have taken it out. Either way, I'll make sure to put better instructions regarding the garage access next time.
