We stayed at Doras apartment for a few days and it was really nice, convenient and clean place. We found everything what we needed in the apartment. Place is in very good location, near city center. Also Dora and her husband both were very nice and helpful. Once again thank you for hosting us! :)
We spent a very beautiful time in Bari and Dora's apartment was very clean and nice. We found there everything we needed and there were multiple stores near by. The beach is a little far if you go by foot but we enjoyed the walks! (you can always use the bus to reach the beach - the bus station is near the apartment)
We had a very nice and relaxing stay in Bari. We loved to cooked several italian recipes in the small kitchen of our apartment and tried as well with the local spezialities, like Burrata. It was great to experience Bari by walking through the small alleys and enjoying the cosy coffee bars. The only things we missed were a nice wine bar for the evening and close to the apartement and little more day light in the apartement. But value for money Doras apartment is really great and super clean. Thank you very much, Dora!
The place was so clean and quiet. Close enough to walk to places, far enough out of the hustle and bustle of it all. The hosts gave us plenty of space to breathe but were there when we needed them. Pierluigi walked me around on a mini tour before bringing me to the bnb. Everything was lovely.
We really enjoyed staying in Dora's apartment. Place was amazingly located so we did not have to use public transport. There was a supermarket and bakery near the place. Moreover, there is a huge market about 10 minute walking where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables for really cheap price. The place was clean and well furnished. There was a gas cooking stove and a small oven so we could cook there easily. Also during summer it has to be really nice place as it was cold. However, there was an electrical portable heating so we could quickly warm the place. Bari is amazing and I would recommend this place to everyone. I hope to visit Bari more often.
Dora kindly allowed us to check in early, and her husband Pierluigi arrived to show us into the apartment. Positive is that the apartment is very conveniently located for visiting the historical centre of Bari, shops and supermarkets are all close by and the covered market, just five minutes walk away has a wonderful selection of fresh fish and fruit and vegetables. It is also just 2 minutes from Via Crispi where the local bus from the airport stops. It is quite a long walk from the station 20/25 minutes; we found the train a cheap and ideal way to visit nearby places such as Trani, Polignano. The apartment is very very small, with a mezzanine bedroom (you may hit your head on the low ceiling!), and another very small single room, but with no door separating . So it is ok for people of the same family, but sharing it with friends could be embarrassing - the tiny shower room/toilet leads directly into the kitchen area and has no other ventilation, for example. There is very basic equipment for cooking. We would have found it useful to have a little more equipment – scissors for example, which you can’t put in hand luggage (we bought some and left them there), some information about Bari and the area and the other bits and pieces which you generally find when you travel with Airbnb. All in all it was ok for us and cheap, but not a bargain (!) probably you have to pay more in Bari to find somewhere better.
