We didn't actually stay at the space we booked. Apparently the room we booked was already rented by a Canadian family for 3 months. We did not have a private kitchen which resulted in issues with a long term guest who visits yearly... German lady who owns stove and gallon of water was very territorial. She embarrased us for unknowgingly using her stove and drinking from the 5 gallon water jug, which made it very akward for most of our stay. The host was very unclear about what was communal and what was not. Also gets very noise at night since it's close to main street near bars... in the morning church is loud as well. The view is great and space is clean... only cold water available in shower. Our main issue was that we felt uncomfortable for not having access to a stove and drinking water, and not staying in the space we booked. After we had an issue with German lady staying there, Carlos did not offer a refund or discount for innacurate posting. If we knew the issues we would have here ahead of time, we would not have booked. We booked because we like to cook our own food and not eat out every single day....and the fact that we were denied access to a basic propane stove and fresh drinking water (first time this has ever happened to us) in a communal kitchen, made this stay a bit unpleasent. Also rooms get hot and the theres is a very loud fan inside that you can use. Carlos and his family are good folks, but we did travel far and paid to stay at their space, and enjoy our time away.
