I am Korean, and I love to travel, so I know the value of having a nice place to stay in with a good atmosphere. I'm living with my Australian friend and one house cat who is quiet and clean.
Our house is located in Yongsan-gu, which is in the centre of Seoul and is the best area to stay in for convenience in regards to getting everywhere in Seoul. You'll be close by to many world class bars, restaurants, cafes, nightlife, and tourist sight seeing spots. Feel free to ask anything
We have a private room with space for two people max. The room comes completely furnished with a single bed, desk, and drawer, and a clothes hanger. It has great natural light coming in through the big windows.
The house is located about a 15-20 minute walk away from Itaewon station, but can easily be reached by bus in 10 minutes. Itaewon, and close by Noksapyeong and Haebangchon is famous for great food, bars, and nightclubs.
For other sights and places: the Han River and it's parks are within 10 minutes walking distance, where, if in season, there is a great fountain show; Gangnam, which is famous for clubbing can be reached by bus in 20 minutes and 10-15 minutes by taxi;
Hongdae, a bustling student hub that is full of bars, clubs, and other shopping is a 30-minute subway ride away; and, finally, Jongro, a historical part of Seoul is about 20 minutes away by bus.
1. The living room has a large TV and stereo for music and is very spacious.
2. Our bathroom comes with a laundry machine, so if you need to wash things, this is for everyone.
Our kitchen has an gas powered cookstove and oven, a microwave, rice cooker, blender, toaster, water purifier, and fridge. Please feel free to use this if you decide to make your own food.
We also have private access to our rooftop, from where you can get a little view of the Han River and is a great place to chill out on an afternoon with a cold drink.
feel free to use things over here but be careful about breaking up like ( glasses, plates etc).
Interaction with guests
Both, me, and my housemate can help you with anything you need, especially information on transport, sightseeing, restaurants, cafes, bars, and nightclubs. I have lived in Seoul my whole life, and my Australian room mate has been in Korea for almost two-years.
Other things to note
keep your mind to close the main door cause my cat can go outside.
- no allowed shoes in house.
