My brother and I stayed at Adrian's awesome house in La Paz several times during our travels in Bolivia! Adrian is extremely accommodating and charming and had answers to all our questions about La Paz. The space is well decorated with interesting art and has a comfortable vibe. We really enjoyed our stay in La Paz and would certainly have to go back to visit Adrian! Hasta la proxima! muchas gracias!

Adrian was really helpful and provided us with information. He also gave us a lift to and from the bus station. Unfortunately the shower didn't work well (lack of pressure from the city apparently) and problems with the electricity. We didn't have to share the apartment but the place is next to the highway.

Juan (which is his Grandfather's name) is a very friendly and accommodating host. That will do everything in his power to make your stay in La Paz one to remember. Communication prior to arrival was fantastic and he picked us up from the centre of La Paz. Unfortunately we found the location of the house to far from the city centre to be able to explore the city. It is a good 30-40 minute walk uphill, along main roads and 10-15 minutes away from the bus station. The house can fit four people (bunk beds) and has a nice lounge room area to relax in. Note however, there is no fridge and the wifi connection was very weak. Lastly, we felt that the neighbourhood the house is in was a little unsafe and not the best place for tourists. Value for money is great as long as you understand the complications of staying out of the city centre.

Adrian was an amazing host. The communication was excellent. The place was as it was decsribed. He gave us heaps of usefull tips. Unfortunately our time in La Paz was quite limited, so we couldn't spend more time with him. Thank you Adrian and good luck and have fun on your upcoming travels in Europe!

It was nice of him to pick us up because it is very hard to find the place. He tried to help us and took us for breakfast but in the end we were really disappointed because the place is in a scetchy neighborhood and the whole place was freezing. Also the bathroom was very dirty so we decided not to take a shower. After we came back from uyuni we agreed to meet him at seven in the morning but he never showed up even though our bag packs were still at his place. Fortunately some Canadians opened us after we already spend two hours in the cold. We saw that neither sheets nor towels were changed and Adrian never showed up to open the room for our bagpacks. We would have never gotten our stuff if the Canadians weren't at home. All he told us afterwards was the lie that he didn't hear our knocks. We wouldn't recommend.

Juan Illimani was very welcoming and a wonderful helpful informative host who took us out for dinner first night and showed us a few sights of la Paz! Privacy was on point, unfortunately the only major neg review was the water as the first night was burning hot, but second n third day the city had a burst pipe??! I would definitely visit la Paz Again n recommend Juans house! Taking a mini bus won't be that easy from elto airport as every joe blog is tryna getta descent ride into la Paz! Finding his place would be lil difficult if u get dropped off in cerva la cervica main street! P.s not the building.. but u can easily walk into town for sure and won't be disappointed with what la Paz has to offer!! Wi fi is the use of Juans personal phone which needs topping up very handy!
