The apartment is in the heart of Harlem and is a 5 minute walk to the 2 or 3 express trains that get you to Times Square in 20 minutes.
Walk to great restaurants, Central Park, the famous Apollo Theatre, and the Abyssinian Baptist Church.
You will have a bedroom in a newly-renovated 2 bedroom/2 bathroom luxury apartment. The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, a full wardrobe, and has a private bathroom (this is your own private full bathroom!) There is also a queen-size futon in the living room for additional guests.
Your stay will feel like that of a hotel. You have your own private room and attached private full bathroom. You'll share a living space and kitchen with me (I have my own private bedroom and private bathroom). I keep the premises extremely clean, and hope you'll do the same.
Clean sheets, towels, soap, shampoo are provided as well.
The apartment features a full size kitchen with an extra-large refrigerator, while the living room is equipped with a HD-television (Netflix streaming is available). There is also a wireless connection throughout the apartment.
Guests have access to a private roofdeck on the top floor during warmer months. The roof deck is great for some wine and cocktails after a long day exploring the city!
The building is equipped with an elevator as well so there is no need to worry about steps! Save your energy for when you explore the city.
I carefully select my guests with the expectation that you will treat the premises like your own and maintain the level of cleanliness when you leave!
A private bedroom and private full bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, a living room equipped with a HD-television featuring Netflix streaming, a roofdeck, a wireless internet connection and a whiteboard containing a list of everything that you will want to do in NYC!
Interaction with guests
You're welcome to interact with me as much as you like. Some folks hang out and have coffee/ drinks, while others prefer their privacy. I'm OK either way :) If you have any queries, I'm always happy to answer them.
Other things to note
There is a white board with every important detail about the must-do and must-see spots in the city as well as some personal recommendations.
Subway maps are also provided.
An extra airbed can be supplied for a third guest upon request.
I have a no bacon policy in the apartment. This is not due to any personal inhibitions (I love bacon), but rather because I think bacon is best served in a restaurant. The grease and smell simply stays in the apartment after cooking bacon.
There is also a no shoe policy. We have a cute shoerack where you can leave your shoes. This policy keeps the apartment clean at all times, for your comfort :)
