The location is great and we were welcomed with open arms. We were spotted on the way to the house and Clive saw us while he was leaving the town. So he followed us and arrived just behind us to welcome us to his home. We loved the surroundings and the walks and the morning conversations during breakfast. Definitely worth visiting and we will be back again.

We had a wonderful stay with Clive and Angie who were very welcoming and are a delightful couple. The room and facilities were exactly what we wanted and we were lucky to get it at the last moment. This is a beautiful, peaceful and secluded corner of the New Forest with easy access to pubs, shops, bike hire and walking. They were very accommodating and flexible with our comings and goings. We felt more like friends and house guests rather than "clients". We would have no hesitation returning or recommending them to anyone.

After a 30 year career in Public Service I took early retirement and ran my own business in East Devon. Everything changed when my wife, Angie, felt called into the Church. I now perform the role of 'Vicar's Wife' in the beautiful New Forest village of Burley where she serves. Any spare time is spent walking our Black Labs in the forest and visiting our children and grand-children.
