The apartment is situated in downtown Lausanne walking distance to everything. It is quiet, beautifully decorated and it has an amazing private 60m2 terrasse with lake and mountain views, BBQ, garden and even a little fish pond!
The apartment is large (70 m2), cosy, functional and well decorated. There is a full open kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The whole west side of the apartment are windows so it is well lit and sunny.
The 60 m2 terrasse facing south offers lake and mountain views. It is fully furnished with garden table, chairs and lounging chairs. There is garden (please water the plants if it's hot!) and a small fish pond (please feed the fish twice a week!). If you are into rock climbing, there is also a bouldering wall on the terrasse.
The apartment has wooden floor everywhere (tiles in the bathroom and kitchen). The kitchen, dining room and living room are open and cosy. There is a hammock that makes late afternoon chilling amazing!
The only bedroom is large, sunny during the day (blinds for a pitch dark night!) and has a ceiling fan for hot nights! There is a queen-sized bed with a quality mattress. Finally, there is a double air mattress available for extra guests (not counting hammock and couch).
The bathroom is modern and clean with a bathtub, shower, toilet, sink and mirrors.
The building is secured with an access code and there is an elevator.
No smoking inside, enjoy the terrasse and the view if you smoke! You are most welcome to invite friends and BBQ but I would appreciate if you respected the apartment and personal items! Lausanne bylaws ask for noise to be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 6 am and, trust me, police will remind you if you are being noisy to the neighbors (even more so on Sunday!). Swiss appreciate respect of others more than anything.
Since this is not a hotel room, but the place where I live, sleep and love, I would appreciate if you were respectful of the neighbors, the furnishing, etc. nothing complicated!
Hi, I'm a consultant in renewable energy in a small sustainability firm in Geneva. I've been living in Lausanne for 7 years now after 2 years in the UK. I'm originally from Montreal but I've been living in Europe for about 10 years.
I'm non smoker, I appreciate good beers and my worst negative trait is that I laugh too much...
