Kristín is a fantastic host! The room and bathroom were spotless and decorated well. She had snacks, pamphlets, movies, wifi, fridge.. etc. It's complete and then she throws in the bikes to use during the stay. A+ on everything. It's really easy if you have a car to get around or if you are comfortable with the buses (schedule) in Reykjavík.

A great place with humble and welcoming hosts. The city center is just a bus ride away or you can hop on a bicycle. Either way, it didn't take us more than 20 mins. The room was cozy and well decorated. The beds were super comfortable. The room also has a fridge and an electric water kettle. There is a pizza place nearby for a quick bite. There is also a TV, although the network is out, the host stashed a bunch of movies and sitcom DVDs. Which was great. Although the bathrooms are shared, they are kept clean and tidy. Kristin and her husband were kind and extremely helpful. They let us borrow their bicycles, which was such a saver for us. They are easily reachable over the phone and were always helpful. I'd certainly recommend this place for anyone who wants a quite place and also well connected.

Good location, close enough to the highway for rapid access but far enough to be quiet, she was accommodating with the arrival hours, we found food in the fridge and fruits as well, which was very nice after many hours of travel, I wanted to prepare a salad, she gave me a spinner and a big bowl (besides plates and kitchen utensils that already were in the room) we felt good, overall a good experience.. Thanks Kristin!

Kristin was a great host. She gives you enough priavcy but is always available when you need her. The aparment is in a quiet neighbourhood but has a good bus connection. The room is clean and has everything you need. She even provides you some food. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Location is quite inconvenient if looking for a place to get food, coffee, or seeing the city. Taxis are quite expensive and walking to Downtown requires more than an hour.

Super comfy beds and really great to have some food in the fridge to arrive to in what is a very expensive city to eat in - it was greatly appreciated. Kristin and her husband were so warm and helpful. All so easy. Great to have bikes to use too and parking - v easy to get to and from. Really great place!
