For an Albanian Air BNB, this is probably the norm. Limited resources in the kitchen (just a few pots and pans, a ladel, a hot pad for cooking...) It was strange that there was a massive freezer in the place of a regular stove. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of clean sheets. However, there were limited towels available. The biggest issue was the heat and the barking dogs. It was not possible to open up the apartment at night to let fresh air in, because of the dog next door and others in the area and the fact that there were no screens on the windows- lots of mosquitos! There should be at least 2 more fans available as well, to make the space more comfortable if an a/c unit is not going to be installed.

Response from Samanta:
Hello Christine! You did not bring up with me the issue of limited kitchen resources or towels, we would have helped you out gladly with that even though it's not our fault because the reservation was for just 7 people, and you ended up being a group of 10 instead. We didn't bring up an issue with Airbnb since there were kids in your group and didn't want to ruin your vacations. Also, you might have missed them but there are mosquito nets in all of the windows in the house. Regards, Samanta

Samanta's house is near the harbour of Valona, but you have to drive along a rough road to reach it. The house is about 20 minutes walking from the promenade, but there are some restaurants and supermarkets near the house. The bedrooms are clean, but the house is a bit untidy. There's not a air condition service, so the host provided a fan. The Wi-Fi didn't work very well, me and another of my friends couldn't connect our phones. We met Samanta, who was kind and could speak both Italian and English; she and her family lives in the apartment above the one reserved for the guests. We didn't have any problem during the check in nor the check out.
