We, locating in the old town of Tokyo, are your home-away-from-home guesthouse, offering a relaxed, residential feel. Super fast, easy access to Machiya station(ONLY 1-MIN-WALK to subway Metro /Keisei line/Tram)

Check out by 11AM
Pros: good price and good locations. Cons: 3 shared bathrooms, 2 shared toilets. Address and gps not too accurate, need to walk down another small block to reach the place. Better to look up 3Q Machiya on website for better accuracy. Rooms, bathrooms and toilets are small, bear in mind, although typical for a japanese home. Overall a good stay for a budget trip, plus you get to converse with the occupants from different countries ^^ Enjoy~
The host was very nice and bilingual. Since we arrived a little bit late check-in was a little bit of a hassle for us since we had a gigantic group and it was super pitch black we couldn't say anything. The place was clean and very nice for backpackers who want a crash stop for a night or so.
There were some misunderstanding when we booked the place. First: The listing specifically said "entire home/apt" but when we checked in (we were a group of 16 adults and 1 child), there were other guests inside the house. Second: Listing said 5 bathroom when actually there were 3 showers and 2 toilets. We were expecting to have 5 bathroom (combination of toilet and shower) Location was very accessible. It was near grocery, restaurants and train station. We all stayed at the second floor which you have to go through tiny stairs (think of stairs going to an attic). Two of the shower rooms were located "outside" - you have to pass through windowlike door and an open space to get to the showers. Other than that, staff were very nice and accommodating. Although, we had a hard time communicating with the host as she was out of the country. Nonetheless, she was also very helpful. For a total, place was okay for the price. Though not recommended for huge groups (hard to control noise) especially with elderly (due to stairs and shower room situation), place was okay. We still enjoyed Tokyo.
