This family was very welcoming! The children are warm and friendly with the guests. Cate and her husband, Laswi, are conversational and willing to accommodate your needs! Cate speaks good english, has experience hosting foreigners, and used to work as a safari travel guide so has knowledge of the area!

A Masai woman, married to a chagga, with two beautiful daughters, have been a host family for volunteers for years now. I work with children, and women empowerment. I love music and making new friends. Learning new thinks is part of me. As a Masai woman i passed through a lot of challenges of which it was through thick and thin that i fought those challenges. Lack of education to girl child was part of it. So my motto is Backward Never, Forward Ever.
