Wow! Amazing hosts and wonderful place to stay! Antonello and Guilio were the most welcoming and kind hosts. They were so attentive from the moment we arrived, as if we were personal friends staying in their home. The house has a rustic, cozy, true Italian feel - Antonello even had a nice fire in the home when we arrived from the chilly outdoors! The home is about a 15 minute walk to the tram/bus station which will take you directly into town. We typically took a cab at night (since we visited in January) and it cost around 12-15 euros. A few times Antonello and Guilio let us catch a ride with them into town :) They gave us excellent recommendations on food and wine. Each morning Guilio had a wonderful breakfast prepared with fresh coffee, bread, meat, cheese, and more. We can't wait to return!

Cosimo and Antonella, our hosts - an artist and a chef - were exceptional, gracious, and kind. They opened their tasteful, renovated monastery to Us and made it feel like our home. We wanted a Tuscan country experience and we got it. The photos were accurate and if anything understated. Their home is set on a gardened hill above the city (15 minute walk to a bus stop and about 45 minutes walking distance to the center of Florence. Our hosts offered us refreshments along with breakfast. They shared colorful family histories and we were surrounded by beautiful original Despite no language skills on my part, Antonella gracefully helped me to arrange for flowers and florentine cake for my wife's birthday celebration. We missed Cosimo and Antonella as soon as we left Florence. This was our best Airbnb experience by far. Our room was private, quiet, and comfortable and even though we had no AC we did have open windows, fresh breezes, and a beautiful view of a landscape that Leonardo might have painted. We would gladly stay there again and again.
