Such a gorgeous room and beautiful home! This was my first time visiting Italy. Cosimo and his wife were very friendly, hospitable and helpful with great suggestions throughout our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a great view of the Tuscan hillside and city. The home had a beautiful patio witha view, perfect for sipping wine and watching the sunset. The location was ideal. We didn't want to be in the middle of the city, but we wanted to be close enough to where we could take a short train ride there. It easily accessible by public transit. We rented a car, so we parked by the train station and took that into the city. But Cosimo offered bikes to take if you don't have a car or you can walk there as well. And it was probably only a 15 minute train ride into the city. I definitely recommend staying here and hope to stay here again on my next visit to Italy. Thanks Cosimo!

IL MONASTERACCIO Casa d'artista in my opinion is the only place to stay when visiting gorgeous Florence. This was my second stay in IL MONASTERACCIO Casa d'artista and it was even better than the first, I highly recommend it to anyone that comes to Tuscany. You get the best of all worlds, a tranquil retreat surrounded by nature, wonderful views and beautiful art, with the centre of Florence only a single short bus ride away. (Bus no 6) Day trips to places like Cortona, Siena, Pisa and numerous other destinations are easy to do, as the bus goes to SMN Station and from there you can take a train to any destination. Cosimo and Antonella are loving and generous hosts who welcome you into their home with open arms and make wonderful recommendations for you to get the most out of your stay. Antonella is a chef and I was very fortunate during this stay to have cooking lessons with with her to make her famous biscotti. Espresso and biscotti are two of my new favourite things! Foodies and Art lovers alike will love IL MONASTERACCIO Casa d'artista. IL MONASTERACCIO Casa d'artista is not only wonderful accomodation, it is an amazing experience that you will never forget... Thank you so much for making my stay so memorable xo

Wow! What more can I say... this was an amazing experience, it really made my journey to stay in such an amazing place with such loving, caring and generous hosts. It not only lived up to its profile on Airbnb, but it far exceed it. The art work by Cosimo and his father Milo is stunning, the entire setting inside and out is a masterpiece. Antonellas lovingly prepared breakfasts were wonderful and her home made biscotti was amazing, I'm now addicted to biscotti and can't find anything as good as hers. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality, I don't believe I will find anything that comes close to matching it. I will be recommending it to everyone and anyone that I know who is coming to Italy.. Who knows I might even be back before my trip is over.. What a lovely way it would be to end my 3 months in Italy... as good as it started! Thank you so much, I loved being a guest in your wonderful home xo

It was a very nice stay in that beautyful house between olive trees and a nice view through the suroundings. The owner-family was very friendly and it was nice to have a little talk to them. They made us feel like home and they were very helpful. The breakfast was delicious - with selfbaked muffins and apple cake. The rooms were very clean and furnished with a good taste and full of art. The bathroom was top clean too. I can recommend to everybody who is looking for a relaxing and harmonic place to stay. Ideal was the car park and you can reach public transport by car in about five minutes. Letting the car near the bus station was no problem. We would always come back again.
