Welcome to our home, a minimal and relaxed modern flat in an art deco block in the heart of Maida Vale. It's the perfect launchpad for enjoying the best of London being an easy walk from the West End and enviably connected by all public transport.

Guest access

Our flat has been recently and fully renovated to a very high standard. It's modern, light, clean and beautifully appointed allowing you to relax, eat, sleep and refresh in style during your stay.

After exhausting yourself enjoying London's many delights, come home to all the comforts you could want - being our own home and not a rental property, our flat is fully equipped with everything you need.

The gorgeous bathroom has a large wetroom style shower, while a heated mirror means gents can shave no matter how steamy!

Instead of a TV we have a projector and DVD player setup in the lounge to beam movies directly onto the wall in true cinema style while full surround sound completes the experience. We have a very extensive movie library (Erica is a film director after all) for you to enjoy on those quieter nights. Wifi is available throughout the flat at your disposal too.

The custom-built kitchen is fully appointed with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer as well as the all-important Italian coffee stovetop maker.

The master bedroom has a king size double bed and plenty of wardrobe space, while the equally sized spare room has a sofa that converts into a large single bed, and another wardrobe for you to use. Fresh bedding and towels are supplied for all guests.

Instructions for everything you could need to know will be supplied in our Airbnb house manual. We will also supply a full guide to our favourite local spots in our Airbnb Guidebook.

Interaction with guests

You'll have the place to yourselves and we're on hand by phone and email if you need anything.

We loved the flat - it has so much character! Wonderful decor and just a great place all around. Beds are very comfortable, and both kitchen and bathroom are small jewels! Warren and Erica are super responsive and accommodating. We would most certainly come back next time we are in London!

Warren and Erica's apartment was just fab for the 3 of us this weekend! The apartment is perfectly situated near Maida Vale station on lovely tree lined streets. I only wish we had more time to check out the local area as it looked so quaint. The apartment was just what we needed for a London base. Clean, tidy, and all necessary amenities we needed for our stay. Warren and Erica were very accommodating; responding swiftly before and during our stay. Would stay again without doubt when next needing London accommodation. Thanks Warren and Erica!!

This is an ideal spot for London exploration and adventures! Homely, easily accessible, great value. A little noisy for summer evenings so perhaps not for the light sleeper unaccustomed but not an issue for me personally. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic 7-day stay in Warren and Erica's apartment. The apartment is in a residential area but really close to public transit making it a great location for exploring London. The apartment is well equipped and had everything we needed to cook a meal and do laundry. Warren was really responsive when we had questions. We also really appreciated that even though their plans changed, they didn't cancel on us!

From my experience, many Airbnbs in London appear overpriced, and their photos and descriptions can be less than accurate. There are often low level annoyances caused by elements of the accommodation, like plugs that get stuck in washbasins, tricky check-in arrangements or poor lighting in public areas. None of this applies to Warren and Erica's flat, which is modern, clean, secure and represents great value for money. For our purposes (we were in London chiefly to watch cricket at Lord's), the location was outstanding, but for anyone wishing to explore London more widely, the location would still be excellent - equidistant between two tube stations (Maida Vale and Warwick Avenue), and with a wide range of shops and restaraunts nearby. The check-in process is very easy (although I was fortunate enough to meet Warren and Erica, who helped me with it), and the guide to the property provided both on Airbnb and in hard copy in the flat, is the most comprehensive and accurate I've come across. It's clear from this, and from the fact that they provided tea, coffee, cereal, a couple of bottles of water, some biscuits and some tourist literature, that Warren and Erica take being Airbnb hosts very seriously and are prepared to really make an effort to welcome their guests. Inside the flat there are two decent sized bedrooms with good beds and plenty of storage space, a kitchen and living area, and a bathroom which is small but which has an excellent shower. A minor inconvenience is the fact that the flat is on the third floor and there's no lift, so it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility problems or unusually heavy or bulky luggage. Fortunately for me, Warren carried my case up to the flat, but I'm aware that this 'service' may not be available to everyone! It's fairly noisy at all times, but this close to central London you'd be naïve to expect anything else. All in all, I really enjoyed staying at the flat, and I hope to do so again.

We are both freelance with jobs that are very mobile and we love to travel so when we're not in our home it's here for rental - it's the perfect spot to enjoy the best of central London from which is why we'll never sell it but we love for others to enjoy it when we're exploring …
