Terms & Conditions
CONDITION OF PROPERTY:
As a guest staying at “Little Paradise in a Quiet Court”, you agree to keep and leave the property and all furnishings in good condition, as it were upon your check-in date.
Before checking-out of the property, all opened food or drink is to be removed from the refrigerator and pantry. All dishes, cups and cutlery are to be washed properly, dried and put away in their designated area. Kitchen surfaces to be wiped down and cleared prior to check-out.
All rubbish needs to be taken out to the front of the property where the main bins are kept. (Red Bin for general waste, Yellow Bin for recyclables). Main Bins must be taken to the street for garbage collection every Monday night.
The Property is strictly non-smoking.
We charge a nominal cleaning fee per stay that doesn’t fully cover the cost for our professional cleaners. Should the property be left in a condition that requires extra cleaning (above the 4 hours for 1 cleaner included), including the above listed requirements (i.e. cleaning dishes, emptying bins, rid any smell from non-permitted smoking indoors, etc) we will charge you an additional Professional Cleaning service charge of $35 per hour.
We also kindly ask that you secure the Property and ensure you turn off all lighting, heating & cooling facilities before leaving the property.
Please keep in mind that this property is located within a residential area whereby all noise must be kept to a reasonable level, which is respectful to all neighboring properties.
Parties are Strictly Forbidden and will result in immediate eviction and total loss of security deposit and holiday rental payment.
If complaints are made about ‘excessive' noise, disturbance or police enforcement are called, we may ask you to leave the property immediately as a breach of the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement. You will not receive a refund of the holiday rental payment and risk loosing 100% of the bond.
NUMBER OF GUESTS:
Beds and linens are only provided as per the number of guests specified in for each booking. Should you wish to add additional persons to the booking, the Host must approve this at least 24 hours prior to your check-in time.
Our neighbours kindly keep an eye out on this Property during rental periods. Should unauthorized guests stay any night, the additional nightly (per guest) cost plus penalty, will be charged to you as this is in breach of our Holiday Home Insurance Policy. If you exceed the maximum number of 11 persons (without permission), we reserve the right to retain your Security Deposit in full and this Agreement may be terminated without refund.
REPAIRS & CALL OUT FEES:
We understand that accidents can happen and kindly ask that you please let us know urgently if there are any damages so that we can organize the required replacement or repair efficiently.
You agree for the Host or any representative to access the property at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of essential repairs.
Should the Host or any other representative be required to attend the property as a result of your own actions, which is outside the responsibility of the Manager or Property Owner, an additional fee will be charged based on the time required and any additional expenses incurred.
The property is thoroughly inspected by the Owner or Manager between EACH visit.
Any stolen, lost or damaged items or furniture and general damages to the property (which includes all fixings, walls, doors, windows, flooring) itself will result in an additional repair costs to be passed on to you. Any lost or damaged keys, remote controls or other items may also incur replacement fees.
Excessive use of the internet (i.e. multiple movie/TV series downloads) may incur additional charges as this can impact the amount of data the subsequent guests have available.
Any excess charges incurred from our internet provider, would be passed on to the relevant guest after confirming the dates of usage. General web browsing (i.e. email) should be no issue. Illegal activity is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN when using the WiFi provided or the Property in any way.
We do not guarantee internet access if it is due to technical issues such as, your computer configuration and/or setting or provider issues that are outside of our control or technical issues associated with the internet provider.
Pets are Not Permitted inside the property nor the outdoor living areas as future guests may have allergies. You are responsible for the costs of any damage caused by any Pets allowed in to the Property. Having any Pet at the property for any given time will result in the loss of your Security Deposit for Allergen Cleaning Premiums.
OVERSTAYING OR LATE CHECK OUT WITHOUT HOST CONSENT:
Guests agree that a confirmed booking is merely a license granted by the Host to the Guest to enter and use the Listed Property for the limited duration of the confirmed booking and in accordance with the Guest's agreement with the Host. Guests further agree to leave the Accomodation no later than the checkout time that the Host specifies in the booking/confirmed listing or such other time as mutually agreed upon between the Host and the Guest. If a Guest stays past the agreed upon checkout time without the Host's prior consent, they no longer have a licence to stay in the Listing and the Host is entitled to make the Guest leave immediately. In addition, Guests agree that the Host can charge the Guest, for each 24 hour period (for any minutes within this unlicensed period) that the Guest stays over the agreed period without the Host's consent, an additional nightly fee of the average nightly Accomodation Fee originally paid by the Guest to cover the inconvenience suffered by the Host, plus all applicable Service Fees, Taxes, and any legal expenses incurred by the Host to make the Guest leave (collectively, "Additional Sums"). Airbnb Payments will collect Additional Sums from Guests pursuant to the Payment terms, which depending on the tardiness of checkout, may be greater than the security deposit held and and payable by the Guest.
Disclosure: Please note, that while this property is one of the newer properties in the area, general wear and tear from all of our guests can be found.
