There were a lot of stairs to our apartment but Marie had someone there to help get our bags up there. But still it is hard to climb that many stairs. The listing shows there is a washer and dryer but there was not. When we raised this the offered to get the laundry done for us at no cost, which they did. I think it would be best to remove washer and dryer from listing and say there is a free laundry service. The area is near the Colosseum but a 15 euro taxi fair from the main train station. The place was clean. Bed uncomfortable

Hello Kerry, thanks for your feedback :) I'm really glad to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you liked the apartment. Concerning the free laundry and ironing service unfortunately we have to keep checked those two boxes on AirBnb as it's still not available the free laundry service as services. Once available we will switch to that :) Have a nice day, Mary

The apartment was very close to the Colosseo, so it's an excellent option. You can also park your car for free right in front of your window, that is quite unbelievable in central Rome. Pets are welcome and the owners have been very kind. The apartment was clean and cozy, the only thing we didn't like was the smell of food all over the room coming from the stairs.

Very central location. The room decor was somewhat dated compared to the photo impressions. Do check about building work on the lift that's being installed. Very friendly and helpful staff, who spoke good English.

My wife and I stayed at the Colosseo - Independent Apartment and found it to be a great little place. The ladies at the reception we very friendly, provided maps of both the immediate area and of 'downtown' Rome (although Rome is the first big city I've been in that does not have any highrise buildings in it's downtown), that covered all the 'big' stuff: Colosseo, Vatican, Borghesi, Pantheon etc. The unit also included daily room cleaning and restocking of the small breakfast offering (including the refills for the Nespresso machine!) as well as a free laundry service, which was great. The unit itself was as described, and really is a 5-7 minute walk to the Colosseo. There are lots of restaurants and at least 3 small groceries in the immediate area, including one open 24 hours a day. Everything worked well, including the air conditioning, which was a God send since the temperature was into the 30ies everyday. I would definitely recommend the unit to anyone considering a visit to Rome.

The check-in went very smooth. The hosts were very welcome and readily answered to all our questions and helped us. They were very helpful and nice. The location of the apartment is awesome. It is situated very close to the Colosseum but it's not noisy. There are many restaurants nearby and some bars. There is also a supermarket nearby. Next to Colosseum there is a metro station and bus stations. The amenities are described carefully. The hosts provide also laundry service. They also provide with some snacks and Nespresso! We absolutely loved the place and will be back again :-)

Great location, very close to the main turistic attractions, free and paid parking available near by. The apartment is very spacious and offers laundry /service for free. Something to point out looks very different compared to pictures in terms of size and the apartment conditions but again very central location, just 2 blooks away from the coloseum and there are tons of cafes and restaurants around the area.

Hello, me and my 2 friend stayed there for 4 nights. fantastic location, no more than 5 minutes away from the colosseum! easy to find once you get off from the metro. The room seemed even better than the pictures, very cozy and clean with a lot of amenities in the house (even though you end up not using most of them it's good to know they are there just in case). very quiet & safe neighborhood with night buses and a lot of markets / restaurants around to fulfill every desirable taste. The staff we met, with all 3 of them, they were very welcoming with a smile that made us feel like home already, offered to help us with our luggage. they also provided us with a map around the area that showed what kind of shops we can find with a detailed explanation on every shop. They were happy to print up location of things we wanted to see and explain us the easiest way to get there aswell. It was our first airbnb experience and we were delighted by it, would most definitely recommend this place no doubt!!!!
