This view of Howe Sound and the coastal mountains is one that my father wanted his whole life, and one that I finally have for my daughter and I...and I'd be most happy to share it with you, as our guest. I live upstairs with my daughter and our lovely white dog (who, by the way, keeps everyone in the house very safe and sound, including you!). If you are renting the whole house, you won't see us, but you can of course touch base with me via cellphone. If you are renting my suite, then you may hear me upstairs. I work out of a home office upstairs and so am often around to assist you in what you might need, such as advice or ideas. My work is in sustainable development, and so occasionally I travel to far-flung parts of the planet, such as the Amazon rainforest or the mountains of Kathmandu or the humid West African cashew farming communities. But, mostly I am around. I wake early and practice yoga as the sun rises over the mountains. Aside of those quiet moments for myself, most of the rest of life revolves around my four-year old, so zipping off to preschool, walking in the forest, going to the park to play or down to the beach to skip stones in the water. We hope you find serenity in staying here, as well as a central location from which to explore this part of the Sunshine Coast.
