Perfect communication with an owner and his room mate, quick answers, perfect hospitality. Great location of the appatments (Gothic region near Rambla). Room is much smaller than on the photos (preliminary 8-9 squire metres), also too small shower, too noisy (because of the appatments construction), good variant of staying for a short time if you need just a place to sleep.

The location of the appartement is just perfect. In the sweetest district of Barcelona. Everything is very close. The appartement and the room are very comfortable .Fidèle and Viviane were great. There tips were very useful and they stayed discrete.

Fidel was a great host. Quick to respond our texts and we were told to call him if any questions or problems. The location of the apartment is almost perfect and central - you are in walking distance to shops, good restaurants and the beach. The apartment is great if you just need a place to sleep for a good price.

If you want to feel how it's like living in the middle of the Gothic quarter in Barcelona, Fidel's place is the right choice. The room was sufficient for two people and there is also a big living room in the house where we had a chilled breakfast. Fidel was also very nice to check us in before the official time and gave us some suggestions of places to visit.

The localisation of the appartement is perfect. Just 5 minutes walk away from the Rambla. The Room is small, smaller than we expected but as we were here only to sleep it was ok ! The area is noisy because of the numerous shops and the proximity with the rambla. We went there during the summer and the room was really hot but Fidel gave us a fan to cool the room. Fidel answered all our questions before our coming, he gave us clean towel for the shower and prepared a paper with some recommandation for restaurants. We also met his roommate Viviane who is French , was chatty and really helpful ! I think this accommodation is better for young people ! We had a good stay here !

We had a great time in Barcelona! Fidel was a good host. His roommate showed us the room and the house. We didn't talk with Fidel too much, but he was in the house to solve any problem if we needed. The location its perfect, in the middle of the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic), near 2 subway lines (5 min walking distance).

The location of the apartment is great, as others have said, but otherwise we were pretty underwhelmed (for the first and only time of our 5 Airbnb experiences in Spain). Our flight was late to arrive at BCN, and while Fidel was proactive about communicating with us about checking in (he was away and had left a friend to meet us), our check-in time was not as flexible as we had hoped, and we were apparently almost stuck waiting all afternoon to get into the apartment because his friend had to work. Once we did get in, no effort was made to explain who the other strangers in the apartment were (did they live there? were they other Airbnb guests? just friends hanging out?), and we never heard from Fidel or his friend again for the rest of our stay (3 nights). The bedroom itself was fine, but it's right next to the front door, which has to be slammed very loudly in order to shut and, of course, woke us up several times throughout the night. What bothered us the most, though, was that there was no hand soap in the bathroom -- in 4 days, really?? There must be better places to stay in the Barri Gòtic.
