We (two adults and a child) stayed for a couple of weeks in Karin's place. The apartment had plenty of room for two adults and a child, good bathroom and kitchen facilities. It is warm and with plenty of natural light and all windows have rolling blinds if one prefers a dark space for sleeping. The building across the road is being restored at the moment; however, double windows (one with double glazing) isolated most of the noise and we had no problem sleeping. There are clear instructions for using the washing machine, and a folder with any other information one may need. The fridge has a good size for 3 people to actually keep food. The washing machine works well and clothes were dry within a couple of days. Everything is in good clean and working condition. The location in Josefov is excellent: less than ten minutes walk to the Old Square, Jewish Synagogue and the Palladium Shopping mall. It is ten minutes too to the excellent public transportation system. Stops for trams and buses, as well as the Náměstí Republiky (yellow line) & Staroměstská (green line) metro stations are a ten minute walk from the apartment. Karin had arranged one friend of hers to receive us, who was very kind and clear about where things were around the apartment. We met Karin a few days later and she impressed us as a genuinely caring person and very responsive to our needs. We mentioned a couple of items that we thought would improve the overall experience in the apartment and next day she came to the apartment with them. We are very happy to have met Karin and hope to stay in her place again the next time we visit Prague.

Karin was an excellent host, answering questions ahead of time, arranging transport from the airport, and more. And the apartment is great, very spacious and well equipped and in a quiet part of the old town. And the pub next door, James Joyce, is great! Stay here, you will not regret it.

This was my first time using Airbnb and so I had a number of questions before arrival about how it all worked; throughout those early days, Karin was extraordinarily responsive and helpful. Once in Prague, she continued to respond quickly to any questions. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs. Bright, airy and well-equipped to meet the needs of visitors. The place was spotless, the bed and sleep sofa comfortable and the bathroom is in excellent shape. The front door to the apartment has to be locked to shut completely and so visitors may want to ask for two sets of keys to make it easier for one to stay in the apartment with a properly closed door while others go out. Karin has prepared a list of her own recommendations as well as clear instructions for the use of the apartment. The location is exceptional. It is minutes walk to the old Jewish Quarter and the Old Town Square and there are restaurants and bars everywhere. Pedestrian traffic in this area is heavy and noisy, but the apartment itself is on a small side street and is very quiet. In sum, the apartment is an excellent choice for visitors who want to walk the old city centre of Prague and Karin is a delightful and helpful host.

Good communication with Karin, who arranged a pick up from the airport. A delightful, very modern and huge apartment in a quiet area - well laid out with generous amenities and instructions - lift to the 4th floor. Easy walking to all the sites. A great stay!

We stayed at Karin’s apartment for most of the month of September. We chose this apartment because of it’s central location to sight-seeing opportunities and Karin’s willingness to communicate and work with us. The apartment is located only a few blocks from the Old Town Square and several sights in the Jewish Quarter. Besides being close to those locations, a walk to Charles Bridge or even the Prague Castle was easily achievable. With such a central location, we were able to have walking day trips, throughout Prague, very often, being able to see all that Prague had to offer. The apartment itself accommodated three people comfortably, with a bedroom and living room that we utilized as a sleeping area. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, cookware, and other handy items to jump start our stay. There is a washing machine and drying racks available, which were very useful for our extended stay. The building is located right around the corner from a small grocery store, and an Irish pub. There is an elevator for hauling luggage to the fourth floor. While we were there, there was construction being done on the building adjacent to the apartment, but this led to little disruption. The windows of the apartment are well insulated, and any construction noise was not noticeable. Communication with Karin was very easy and open, with it being clear that we could approach her with any concerns, of which there were none. We even sat down and had a cup of coffee with Karin and enjoyed a lively discussion and became better acquainted. Overall, I would highly recommend this location. With the apartment being so close to so many attractions, shopping, dining, bus, and metro our stay simply could not have been better! There is plenty of space in the apartment. The wifi worked very well. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.K
